RATIVE Anti Slip Non Skid Ankle and Crew Socks with Grippers for Men Women

I love my socks. After months of use they are still like new, and I just ordered a spare set. 5 stars for these socks. I am a 13 EEE and bought XXL they fit snug but good for edema. Grips on bottom very good, I am in my 60's with poor balance. 1 pair had a string come loose but still rate 5 stars.

These socks are comfortable & tight. They can be difficult to get on because of the tightness, but that makes them comfortable and helpful. The non-skid bottom works. They will last longer if you hang them to dry rather than put them in the dryer.

I am so glad I ordered XXlarge for my husband. Not only do they fit his big feet perfectly, but with his dementia he is even able to put them on by himself which is great deal of pride for him.

Bought these were my dad but his feet and calves are slightly swollen so return these to get ankle socks instead. Otherwise it seemed to be decent quality

I've tried at least a dozen models of hospital socks, ranging from the flimsy low-cut green jobbies hospitals provide for surgery to these Rative crews. Even the freebies work, in that they add a bit of warmth and -- for a few washings -- good anti-skid protection. We keep our bedroom cold year-round for best sleeping, and my bare feet chill easily. Even sweat socks, however, are warmer and more constricting than I like.After a LOT of clicking, I bought the Ratives. I HATE any sense of confinement to my toes (a support "tent" lifts all the covers above my toes), so I always buy XXL hospital socks for my average-width 13s. I have never had any hospital socks feel (and look) as good as these socks. They could not fit any better, from the firm but indentation-free crew tops that stay up, to the highly conforming ankles, to the perfect foot fit that keeps them from rolling around my foot, to the non-existent (or so they feel) toes. They also feel great and DO.NOT.SLIP.AT.ALL on even the slickest floors. After wearing my first pair just one night, I immediately ordered another pack of three ... all one color so I can mix and match if and when they start to wear out. I'm kicking myself in the butt -- without slipping -- for not finding these decades ago. If I hadn't LONG ago retired, these socks would look great with any three-piece suit. Order big and look no further.

These are great for avoiding slipping on smooth floor. I wear them just about every day around the house. They will fit in shoes if necessary, but I don't find them very comfortable.

I have been trying to find a good brand of non-skid socks to wear around the house, to prevent falls. My first try was RATIVE Barre Yoga Pilates Hospital Socks with grips. They were great at first, comfortable and with good traction. But each pair developed holes at the heels after a short time.I tried two other brands, and despite getting the largest size, found them to be way too tight, and returned them both. And my foot is not unusually large; I wear men's size 9.5 or 10 shoes. I had read many of the reviews. Some found the silicone "grippers" to be uncomfortable to walk on; I had not, on any of the brands I had worn thus far.Then I saw another model from RATIVE, "Non Skid Slipper Hospital Socks", on Amazon.com, made of a different fabric. Hoping that they might be more durable, I ordered them. Two problems: (1) These were longer socks, not just anklets as the earlier ones I tried had been. Although the part around the foot was comfortable, the part around my ankle and lower leg was too tight. (2) The silicone "grippers" on these are larger and, I think, thicker, than those on any of the other non-skid socks I had tried, and I did find the ones on this model to be uncomfortable. As a sidelight, these are very thick, and would be uncomfortable in hot weather, though they might keep your feet toasty warm in the middle of the winter.So, sadly, I returned them. The search for comfortable, durable non-skid socks continues...
