A Century of Christmas Memories, 1900-1999

My elderly mother enjoyed this a lot.

This hard cover book was a perfect gift for my grandparents as it shows different Christmas things over the years.

Yeah, it's half the length of a paperback novel and very thin--but the history tucked into those pages is excellent. I especially enjoyed the pages dedicated to 1900 to 1920. I've never looked at Christmas that far back in history. I wish someone would write an exhaustive, full length analysis of Christmas between 1900 and the end of the great depression. I would buy it in a second! This would probably be an excellent, and relatively inexpensive present to send to elder relatives this Christmas.

Love this book.....so full of pictures, memories, tidbits of info, and just plain fun to read! I keep this book out on the coffee table all year so others can enjoy it whenever they are over. It's so fun and the shipping was fast and the price was right! Many thanks.....I wish the book had even more information in it!!

fun filled journey through christmases past! Enjoyed seeing those images of my childhood christmases and my young adult christmases as well as those of my parents and grandparents!!!

Okay, I admit that I didn't check out the book dimensions, so when it arrived I was shocked to see it was a 6 inch by 6 inch format. It's cute, but not what I expected. The contents therefore for each year are short, sometimes two years per page. It'll be a decent stocking stuffer, but that's all. Nice photos.

A fun way to see how Christmas traditions developed. My grandkids loved it.

Bought this for my elderly mom and she loved reading of so many of her past Christmases. She so enjoyed going down memory lane!
