I bought a camera at an estate sale and needed a charger and this was a perfect fit giving me a charger and a new battery in case the original was too old to charge.

Product as advertised, charged battery right out of the box, plus an older uncharged battery I had as backup. Charge took a couple of hours and got the camera up and operating. The advantage is that if you have several batteries, one can keep a backup charged and ready to go with this plug in charger.
