I doubled up and bought a second bag of these pebbles so they would fill the fire box more completely. The soft gray goes well with the black fire box. When the gas fire is lit, these lave pebbles hold the heat so you get a more efficient fire. Once you turn off the gas for the night, the pebbles continue to glow red and orange for about 10 minutes - quite a beautiful atmosphere. Just the thing to know about. My fireplace has a screen that closes it off from the hearth so I cannot close doors, hence the fire glows for a bit. Really beautiful.

These look amazing, but they burn. They turn black. I’m assuming I will have to replace them with something else after a while. I don’t think they should burn. I have moved them around on my firepit, but you can’t keep them completely away from the flames. They are supposed to be able to take the heat. Right?

They are darker in color than expected but they look very nice in the fire table.

Came in ziploc bag. Last order was in labeled box and bag from distributor. This looked like it had been used and put ziploc (but the rock was fine). No issues with the rock.

These worked perfectly for our needs and nice looking and put off nice heat.

Great round rocks for our outdoor fire pit! Generous amount of rocks that really look good.

Nothing to dislike.
