Great Fun and Quick Way to Increase Child's Vocabulary
My 7 yr old grandson loves doing this Word if the Day! His vocab has expanded and he takes real pride in using one of his learned words in it's proper context.Each word is properly itroduced with a short application Word story example from the Wordly family. Then applicable questions and finally a chance to illustrate or apply it.What a great fun way to increase a child's vocabulary. If I were to go back to teaching, I would certainly use this in my classroom.

Kids love it
I like that it explains the meaning in a way that elementary kids can understand, it gives examples and provide questions for discussion.Cons: no pictures， no colors Vs another brand. I wish it came with a hard board stand - so that it can stand on itself like a flippable calendar.

Good content
Good content, word story is a nice touch! My 5 year old is familiar with most of the words in this already but it's still useful to teach him the proper usage of the words. Was just a bit disappointed because I thought this stands up like a desk calendar, but it's basically a ring-bound notebook. I do hope they can make a version that can be propped up.

I pull this out every morning after breakfast for my almost 4 yo along with our animal of the day and it is so fun and so quick! Great to add to morning routines!

Good words and context for kids!
I bought this to expand my 5 year olds already rich vocabulary and couldn't be happier with this purchase. We've done one page and word a day for two weeks and she really enjoys the words. We talk about the word in the morning while brushing hair and teeth, then try to use it before and after school. Some words we've encountered are mansion, dilemma, convince (she knew that one), nutritious, and sparkle. Each page explains what the word means and gives questions for talking points. Highly recommend!
