This case, while very simple and not protecting the screen, is an awesome value for the money. It fits the phone very well, and adds a lot of grip to a phone that is essentially a wet bar of soap when it has no case on it. And even though there's no scream coverage, the way the case borders the screen ensures that when not dropped on like a corner of something, the screen doesn't get scratched. Earlier today, I was not paying attention to where I was walking and had my phone in my hand. I walked into a door so hard that my phone just went flying out of my hand. And I when I say flying, I mean FLYING. Something like 8 or ten feet. It bounced on the ground a couple times, but there's no damage whatsoever to my $700 cell phone. Sure, the case has a slight scuff, but it did it's job admirably.

This case fits my phone perfectly and looks great. All the button cutouts are perfectly aligned, and the case is nice and slim, just like I wanted it to be. Great case at a great price.

I had been a holdout on cases prior to purchasing an LG G8 as most cases either add too much bulk or fall off because they are thin and flimsy. I learned the hard way that this phone MUST have a case. After owning the phone for one day, it slid off the arm of a chair, bounced off the carpet and hit the base of my fireplace. Fortunately, there was only a small crack on a bottom corner. Two minutes later, after a string of expletives, I purchased this case based on reviews. The case did not disappoint: it is low profile, fits snugly, and has a decent grip but doesn't get stuck in my pocket. My only minor complaint about it is that the USB-C port may stop larger cable connectors from fully seating, but YMMV. I probably will just take a small blade to shave a little bit off the top of the opening. I am quite pleased overall .

I am very happy with this case. I usually don't buy cases for my phones; I prefer the phones to be smaller and lighter. For this phone, however, I needed a case. The G8 is all glass and is so slippery that if you set it down anywhere that is not absolutely 100% level, the phone will immediately slide down and off whatever surface you put it on. Very irritating. So I bought this case. I am very happy with it. It does not increase the bulk of the phone much at all, but solves the slipperiness problem and protects the glass phone from breakage (I assume--I have not dropped it or let it slip onto the floor since I got the case). Price was great, too.
