The haters are dead wrong about these glorious little lanterns! Plastic is durable and designs are fabulous. Just used them for ambience on my patio for a dinner party and guests were over the moon about them! Absolutely charming; quirky conversation pieces! I’ve already ordered two more designs. The submersible tea lights come on the second they hit the water and shut of the second they are removed. The light reportedly have a 3-4 hour burn time BUT: they lit my lanterns ALL NIGHT for my dinner party! I left them on and returned to the patio noon the following day and they were still flickering brightly!! I took them out of the water and used them ALL NIGHT the next evening. Days later they are still performing just as well! These lanterns pack a lot of value and wow factor. What more could you ask for the price?!
