Reasonable question. No reason to ignore the value of snap caps and simply racking the slide to reset the trigger. I use snap caps most often, however, they are not as realistic for multiple shot practice as at the range or in an actual situation. That said, I was disappointed the trigger pull using this magazine is not at all realistic and that takes away from one critical aspect of dry firing.

Will it work with m&p shield single stack?

No, I'm sorry but we do not currently have a DryFireMag for the M&P Shield. However, we are working on developing more models.

Will this work with a SD9?

If the SD9 takes the same 17 round mags that the M&P uses then yes it will work.

Will you have one for the S&W 22 compact anytime soon? I'm having a hard time finding any laser cartridge or other dry fire equipment for this model.
