Am I missing something?
The one big problem I have with this book is how Lou Baldin received this information. He is a construction contractor/home builder, who gets a telephone call from someone he doesn't know, asking Mr. Baldin to have lunch with him. Mr. Baldin agrees, and they meet for lunch. This stranger shows Mr. Baldin some papers. Later, Mr. Baldin does not remember what he and this stranger talked about and he does not remember what was on the papers he was shown. Mr. Baldin never sees or hears from this person again, and then he proceeds to write this book. If this stranger has information he wants out to the public, why doesn't he seek out an author instead of a home builder? Putting that point aside, how could Mr Baldin write about the details in this book when he doesn't even remember what was on the papers or what the stranger said to him?The rest of the book is a very interesting read. If what he is saying is true, it's no wonder that the UFO mystery needs to stay a mystery. According to this book, the aliens can do whatever they want to us at any time and we have mo way to stop them.

You won't regret reading this book!
This book doesn't mess around with prefaces or introductions. The information starts pouring out from page one. Amazing concepts beyond anything I have heard or read elsewhere. John Lear was convinced that this book offered an accurate account of the Roswell story. I don't believe everything I read but I try to keep an open mind. This book has opened my mind much wider to the possibilities of life beyond what we currently understand. I feel more of a peacefulness in knowing the truth about how I fit into the universe. You won't regret reading this book!

A look behind the curtain
A fascinating look into a reality that most of us only dream about! If you're interested in the UFO topic this is one you don't want to miss. Lou gives us a glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes both on earth as well as inside the UFOs. This is another of his books that is best for the open minded individual. That being said it's still a very entertaining read for anyone remotely curious about this topic.

Lou's first UFO book
You have to understand the context of this book Lou was being given alot of information at the time and chose a story like format (finding the info in a manuscript) as the way he was going to relate it to the reader. This book is a classic and marks a break in the tradition from other ufologists, Lou has always been able to relate the UFO/alien experience better then other authors and the ideas in this book are profound enough that they are most certainly worth your attention.

I read the book in 3 hours, and I usually take a couple days to read a book like this. 177 pages.
While reading made me feel angry and sometimes wondering why. This book I think helps the reader realize we should have more fear of ourselves then what kind of alien is out there. I am amazed at how many things I always assumed and not realize how little I knew of the Roswell cover up. And future cover ups.

Fiction or Non Fiction?
Still not sure if this story is real or a manufactured fictional novel.

A Good Yarn
This is entertainment! Mr. Baldin names no sources other than a "document" he found at a garage sale; the rest is an example of a wild and wonderful imagination. He even gets the location of Area 51 wrong saying it's in Arizona. Actually, I really enjoyed this book, and was able to read it all in one sitting. However, until the author offers better souces for his information, for me, it's all "PULP FICTION." After I was done, I threw it in the garbage.

Not a fun read
Simply not believable. Not a good read, poorly written, not a book for the serious ufo inquirer.

Good book very interesting
I have always wanted to know a little more about the UFO crash at Roswell and what was discovered aboard this spacecraft as well as what it became of its occupants. The book is well written There is a lot of information in this book that confirms that the author was well informed unless he got an extraordinary imagination. Too bad he does not talk about the occupants (if he doesn’t say anything maybe, he knows nothing about them) which is good on the other side because it seems to me that this writer is honest. A good book I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this book as it tells us about extraterrestial craft ...
I enjoyed this book as it tells us about extraterrestial craft and a number of its accompanying parts. He, the author, received the information from papers he was shown by a stranger and never hadany other contact afterwards from this person. It gives us another insight about what the scientists and other people involved hadto deal with as they inspected the spaceship and its contents!

Utter tosh!
Badly written by a child in an adult's body. I read it and then promptly recycled it (charity shops didn't deserve to be lumbered with it).
