As soon as I got this I used it to slice up some apples to snack on and it works like a charm, it's good quality and feels it, way better than the cheap broken one I had ages ago, but one word of warning, nothing bad but the last one I had (cheap n crap) the cutter part wasnt bladed, this is (as seen in second picture) , so remember this and watch your fingers! Especially when cleaning... All in all, well worth it for a quick n easy solution to slicing and coring your apples, definitely recommend

This gadget has made me feel like an apple slaying ninja. Line it up, push down and out pops the core like a magic trick. It’s oddly satisfying and a big time saver for those who cut for fussy kids. The handle is comfy and very well built. If you're the kind of person who enjoys impressing people with your fruit prep game, then this is for you. One star lost as occasionally, the core likes to play hard to get and refuses to drop out without a bit of encouragement. It’s not the end of the world, but it does slow things down which isn't great when you have needy kids. Overall, it’s a great tool and dishwasher safe! So no risk of slicing a finger open when trying to clean it.

Excellent. Easy to use. Strong & sturdy. Just cut off the top or bottom if the apple is misshapen & perfect slices of apple.

Much easier for me to use as have trouble with hands

This is okay as it does get the job done. You need to really position yourself directly over it and make sure the Apple is not going to slip away because you do have to put some force into it for the blades to actually slice through the Apple. Personally I feel that the blades are not quiet sharp enough as due to the amount of pressure you are applying it does leave a mess of the juice behind. Even then it doesn't seem to cut right the way through as it leaves most of the apple pieces dangling on just by their skin. I then tip the whole thing over and tap the pieces out that way to finish the job. I do like the handles on this though as they give you a good grip, and you really need that due to the reasons explained above. I feel that if they just sharpen those blades up, and give you something to keep them sharp over time then this would be perfect. As it stands it's distinctly average and will get the job done, but not without leaving a mess.
