T-Fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick Fry Pan came well packaged in large box. The pan is beautiful! It's solid and substantial but not too heavy. The coated surface is typical of a Teflon pan but it has ridges on the bottom for more even heating. I tried it and fried some meatballs and onions. The pan takes a few minutes to warm up but then it does an excellent job cooking everything evenly. Nothing sticks to the surface (yet). The handle is a comfortable rubber like grip that stays cool while the pan is in use.It's also easy to clean. You do have to cure the pan before use by heating the pan up on low and wiping it with vegetable oil. Repeat after 10 cycles in the dishwasher. I'm not going to be putting mine in the dishwasher. It's easy enough to clean with a sponge and detergent in the sink.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.~ Kort

I just love this pan. The non-stick surface works just great and AFIK does not involve any PFAS chemicals. I routinely fry eggs and French toast in this pan and neither ever sticks while cooking--unlike with all pans I have tried in the past. And clean up is a breeze--just wipe the surface with a paper towel and then wash with a soapy sponge and you're good to go.I might even get a second one just to be able to cook in two pans at once. Definitely a must-have for me.

T-fal pulled off some magic voodoo alchemy when they designed this incredible pan. Ive had it for a few months now and it's absolutely the go to pan for everything that i can think of cooking in it.For starters, it has a clever function that lets you know when it's sufficiently hot. The outer red ring in the center of the pan has off color squares that turn the same color as the ring when the pan has properly preheated.That's a great feature on its own, but where the pan truly shines is the hard anodized non stick surface. The pan actually delivers on the non stick promise, to the point of perfection.For instance, i can crack two eggs into the pan without oil, and as soon as they set, they can slide around freely when the pan is tilted. I had cheese from cheeseburgers drip off the side of the patties on to the pan surface, and it lifted up along with the patties when i used a spatula to pull them off.This pan also sears incredibly well. I did two ribeye steaks with butter, rosemary, and garlic (pictured) searing them and basting as i cooked them. The sear came out better than any other non stick pan I've ever tried.The pan came with a nice heavy duty lid, the lid handle is wrapped so doesn't slip or get excessively hot.Cleaning the pan is as simple as wiping it out with a paper or dish towel. I've used wooden and metal utensils while cooking and so far don't see any scratches.Buy this awesome pan. Great Job T-fal!

I love to cook! I'd been using a cast iron skillet for years but wanted something a bit lighter with a lid. I have some nice not-stick pans but they scratch very easily. This amazing pan does not scratch, can be put in the oven (huge win!), and it's large enough for big meals. I also like that it comes with a lid that has a hole to let the steam escape. Will definitely be buying this pan in different sizes. Great price as well!

There is virtually no scrubbing needed when washing. The pan is huge and I most often use it to stir- fry & to cook multiple hamburger patties, I can usually fit about 4-5 1/4 pound patties easily.Cons:• Glass lid/cover can be troublesome to cleanThis may be a deal breaker for some. There is a tiny space between where the metal rim and the glass meet that allows liquid & food to accumulate so cleaning & drying takes a little extra work.Things to know from the product handbook: The fry pan is touted as dishwasher safe but hand washing is recommended by manufacturer. Be aware that it will not be covered under warranty if its washed in the dishwasher. If you decide to wash in the dishwasher, use of concentrated dishwasher detergent pods/packs should be avoided because it will ruin the nonstick coating. Nonstick spray like Pam is forbidden because it leaves an invisible film that degrades the nonstick coating of the pan and heat levels shouldn’t exceed medium-high. That’s a lot of disclaimers but this is typical with most if not all brands of nonstick cookware.I’ve had this fry pan for seven months now & have followed manufactures recommended care and it’s still like new. Overall the positive points of this T-fal fry pan outweighs the fact that I don’t care for the lid and I’m pleased with the quality especially at this price point. If you’re looking for decent, extra large non stick fry pan in the mid price range then this is a good choice.

I bought a whole set of TFal pots and pans on black Friday. I love them! I can cook a steak in them and clean them out with a paper towel. So easy! (I can, but I actually do use dish soap, and my hands 😂) They can cook on high, unlike a lot of other sets. They can go in the oven. So when Amazon had another Prime day sale, I bought this 12 inch pan. Although I use spatulas etc that are designed for nonstick pans I have used metal and it hasn't scratched.It is thick and a bit heavy, but not as heavy as cast iron so I can easily use it even with my arthritic hands. It's perfect, and I highly recommend it.

Got this to replace my older pan that was dying. I love the size of this pan. It works great for larger dinners as well as frying up bacon. Glad I was able to get a replacement pan, instead of buying a whole set.
