Essential for cloth wipes
We thought we were just being "green" when we decided to do cloth wipes. Then we had our first foray out of the house with our newborn, and had the displeasure of experiencing disposable wipes. A diaper change that takes 6 disposable wipes takes 1 cloth wipe. Wow. And cloth wipes are so much nicer on our baby's bum to use soft stuff like baby soap, olive oil, and warm water (one of the recipes that come with the warmer). The thing about this warmer is that it not only keeps the wipes warm (I'm not convinced that baby really notices whether it's warm or cold...but it makes us feel better) but the moisture keeps circulating in this closed unit, which means that you mix and pour your solution once per batch. All the wipes stay wet. Also, throwing these in the wash and rolling them into the warmer takes no time. I think I can roll and stuff an entire batch in under a minute. Just make sure you have enough with your laundry rotation that there are always enough to put into the warmer. The unit includes some of the company's wipes, and I will say that they're the worst of all four we've tried. They started unraveling after 3 washes. The Satsuma Designs Organic Wash Cloths and Wipes 5 Pack, White are the best. They are thin but absolutely do the job. You can roll the greatest quantity of them into the warmer because they're thin, which means you're refilling less often -- a huge plus when at home with new baby! The GroVia Cotton Cloth Wipes and Babykicks 10 Pack Baby Wipes, Colors May Vary are really nice, but they are much larger, so they take up more room in the warmer and don't yield a better result. Needless to say, the GroVias and Baby Kicks are great for spit ups and such, too, though. If I had it to do over, I'd register for all Satsumas, and I would have registered for extra moisture pillows, too. I end up changing those once every so often. As for the reviews talking about discoloration -- it's hard for me to tell whether discoloration comes from olive oil mix deposits, or the warmer. But at the end of the day, they get clean, and they're bound to be used for messes anyways, so I guess it doesn't bother us. Overall, a terrific, essential product if you're doing cloth wipes...which you should! They're so much more efficient and green than the disposable variety.

Works great!
I just had a baby and convinced myself that this was an unessecary convenience. Boy was I wrong! I cloth diaper and use cloth wipes, and quickly realized that newborns HATE cold wipes. I ended up ordering this after DD was a couple weeks old. Its nice to store pre-made wipes without having to spray the wipes. It keeps them REALLY hot but you do have to wait awhile for them to heat up, which I haven't found to be a big deal, it just means she gets a couple luke warm ones before it really heats up. Like another review stated the light on the front is obnoxiously bright!! But I actually like it if I need to get up with her alot I actually don't need to turn the lights on lol! But if its keep me awake I just cover it with a burp rag or something, no big deal. It does not keep any odor, if you're worried about that. I clean mine everytime I refill it (Just a quick wipe down with the beads of warm water left in it and a few drops of lemon essential oil). It works very well, no problems, and I think baby appreciates it (Especially in the middle of the night) Definitely recommend! P.S. Also comes with some nice wipes recipes that I customized to fit what I had. (1tbl Dr. Bronners Baby soap, 10 drops lemon, 5 drops lavander, 5 drops tea tree, a little squirt of Aloe Life aloe vera gel, and water) Makes for some great smelling and cleaning wipes! Update: Baby is now 10 months old and I still love this warmer. The obnoxious light actually stopped working a couple of months ago(you don't see me crying) and everything else still works perfect. This really is a great buy.

So many uses
This product is amazing. I bought when I was taking care of my elderly mother. It’s wonderful to heat up wipes and washcloths. I bought it again to keep my bedside because I have a heated mask to wear for my dry eyes and when I get in bed, I like to be able to just slip it out and put it on instead of having to run to the microwave to heat up the eye mask and back into bed. I just reach in and grab it

Great with cloth diapers
We have used this for one year now and are very happy. We bought this in the US but are able to use it at our home in the UK with just a plug converter. Since we are already using cloth diapers, it is so easy to grab a warm cloth wipe from the warmer next to the changing table, wipe her little bottom and then toss the wipe into the wet (or soiled cloth diaper). Then one only has to pick up the all-in-one diaper by the outside to toss in the wet bag lined diaper pail. I wash them with the diapers. Much easier than having to buy disposable wet wipes and having to take out the trash after poos. Also, we have not see diaper rash with using the cloth wipes. Probably because it's just water and no chemical irritants. Important to use fragrance-free laundry detergent and NO fabric softener or dryer sheets, if you want to keep your cloth wipes hypoallergenic (and keep your cloth diapers absorbent). I initially bought the Prince Lionheart Warmies Wipes to match it as well as the Grovia Reusuable Baby Cloth Diaper Wipes. Both fit in the warmer and work just fine. The Prince Lionheart wipes are smaller and initially much softer than the Grovia wipes, but they also got caught frequently on the hook and loop (velcro) closures on the all-in-one cloth diapers in the laundry and over time the softness became similar to the Grovia. Initially I rolled the cloth wipes individually to put them in. It holds 12 wipes easily. But then that was too much work and it was just as easy to lay a stack of wipes each folded in half in the warmer. The antibacterial sponge needs to be rinsed once per week. This is good to do to keep it moist so it doesn't get hard and stick to the bottom of the warmer. It's also important to make sure the lid doesn't get left open (otherwise dries out quickly). When I put in the wipes I basically run the whole pile under the tap and then squeeze out the water and put into the warmer. Very easy. Very low effort. I think I have two packs of Grovia (24 in total) and one pack of the Prince Lionheart wipes (18 count). It's useful to have a stack of dry wipes. If things look messy, I can put one under her bum to finish the clean up after removing a soiled diaper. Also good for wiping noses and cleaning up spit up. I refill the warmer with the wipes every 36-60 hours depending on number of poos. I replace the antibacterial sponge about once per month as recommended, but it is unclear if it is necessary.

It'll keep you cumming back for more too ;3
The Prince Lionheart Warmies Wipes Warmer—let's be honest, we all know what this is supposed to be for. But in this household, it's pulling double duty as the MVP of date night prep. Designed to keep things warm and ready, this little wonder now ensures my wife’s favorite "stress relief device" and her go-to lube are cozy and perfectly temp-controlled. The Ever-Fresh System isn’t just for keeping things moist (though it does that beautifully); it also ensures no funky smells or weird dryness—because nobody wants that. And the gentle warmth? Let’s just say it’s a total game-changer when the mood strikes. It’s spacious enough to hold what we need and doesn’t scream “nursery gear” sitting on the nightstand. The bright light also cant be seen - now that its been primed & painted black. Plus, the energy efficiency means it’s on standby without racking up the electric bill, and the one-hand lid operation? Well, that’s just practical for, you know, quick access. All in all, this little warmer has taken a fun detour from its original purpose, and frankly, we’re not looking back.

a luxury
This warmer is great. Very convenient and easy to use. Makes cloth wipes simple and makes you feel like a mom that has it all together. I will admit its just a luxury not a necessity. You have to constantly be on top of it and fill it up what feels like everyday. It does keep the wipes quite warm though which is awesome. My main regret about this product (which is why only 3 stars) is the light that stays on while plugged in. I can see while having a newborn the light would be awesome because it illuminates the room so you can nurse and change diapers at night without blinding everyone in the room. But for me, my son was about 9 months and didn't need diaper changes at night and i had to go in the room one night and was shocked how bright the room was! the light literally lights up the entire room. And there is no off switch! i started throwing a heavy blanket over it but later worried that something would catch fire because its plugged in and warm. Then I decided to just unplug it right before bed but in the morning didn't like frigid cold wipes when i needed them because i would sometimes forget to replug it in in the morning (plus it takes 30 min to heat all the wipes up). Finally my husband was a genious and cut the wire that was the light. So now there is no light and it still does the job! I love it so much and it's really handy when you use cloth wipes. After fixing the light problem it became a 5 star product but I'll keep the rating because of the hassel. It's extremely worth it if you want to cut the light wire lol. And it looks perfect still- just doesn't light up.

Good with some tweaking
My son needed cloth wipes because disposable ones were tearing up his booty. The Warmies that come with it are not that good. We don't use them. Instead, I bought Baby 'r us brand washcloths. They are cheap and work much better. They are larger and softer than the Warmies. We didn't use a solution, just tap water, to wet the wipes. Creating a solution seemed like more work than I wanted to do. When we used tap water, the warmer got a musty smell after 2 days of use. We bought distilled water and stopped using the pad (it got musty even with distilled water). It works fine without the pad and it holds more wipes that way. Be aware that at first, when you are doing a lot of diaper changes, you have to refill the warmer every other day. It takes about 10 minutes to wet and roll the wipes, longer if you are making your own solution I am sure. Once we got past the small hiccups, the warmer works well. Our son cries a lot less having a warm wash cloth on his bum vs. a cold disposable.

light too bright, poor longevity- broke with no explanation
Keeps wipes at a good temperature, but doesn't always heat them all evenly unless you wait several hours before using them, which is unlikely because of frequent diaper changes. I wet them with warm/hot water before I put them in so we don't have to wait for them to heat up. We don't use any solution with it, just water. Comes with some sort of pad to put in the bottom, but I don't really know why it's needed, so we haven't used it (yet). The light is very, very bright, even more than a night light, which I don't like. Don't know why it's necessary. I currently cover it with a towel at night but I want to try to remove the LED instead. Over all, worth it not to shock my little one's bum with cold wipes. UPDATE AS OF 4/19- downgraded from 4 to 2 stars. I am not impressed by the longevity of this warmer. We kept it in the same place, unplugging it if we were gone for more than a day . We moved houses two months ago at which point we had been using it about 22 months. We unplugged it, put it at the top of a box, drove one mile, unpacked it immediately, and it stopped working. I am not embellishing. We barely disturbed it and it quit working. I took it apart to see if a wire had come loose, but all the soldering points seemed to be fine. Maybe the element shorted out somewhere, but based on its design it isn't possible to see it if it did. I have no idea what happened, but I am very disappointed at how fragile it is. It is a very simple contraption for how much they charge, so I can't see why it should fail so easily. I bought a different model since we had our second LO just before we moved, but I got the one with a dispenser built in since we're using disposable wipes with her. Once this one broke after the move, I bought a different brand for my new LO, and started using the other Lionheart model to replace this one. As a side note, oddly enough, I find that the Lionheart model with the built-in dispenser is better for keeping cloth wipes warm than disposables. This experience combined with my disappointment in the other model compelled me to buy a different brand of warmer for our second LO (which doesn't have an obnoxiously bright light). I wish I didn't have to buy a replacement, what seems to me, so soon. Since there is no way to fix it I feel awful about how wasteful it is to throw it away. Fortunately, our first LO is almost potty trained, so I won't know how long-lived he other model really is. Fingers crossed the other one will work longer after I give it to someone else.
