There's a little tab in the middle of the blue plastic. Pull it all the way around the top of the jar. These are great herbs. I have almost everything the company makes.

Why does Amazon charge double what they charge in a grocery store?

It's not Amazon. These are being sold by a seller and Amazon is fulfilling the order. The seller sets the price, not Amazon. They are about $2.00 more a bottle here, but I can't find the dried Spring onions in store anymore, so I'm buying them here. It's a tradeoff for me.

Where is the product made/from?

Lite house inc has a Idaho address. Bottle also states “Product of Germany”.. I have used this product for years and love it.
