It was easy to set up. It works well with smart things and can alert you when it feeds. You can use an iPhone block for the power supply.

Tried working with customer service about the rotation of the feeder rotation failing intermittently. Their response was slow and repeated same questions over and over. Appeared to be an attempt to get consumer to give up after 2 weeks of this. Tried the support through the IOS App as well and they stopped responding all together. Started failing just after the 1 year warranty and iLonda wasn't interested in the slightest in making things right. Buyer beware. Good product but terrible customer satisfaction and support.

I recently purchased this product after I knocked my Eheim version into the tank which was battery operated. (smh) It took me a little bit to get set up but after a little trial and error I finally got it wifi connected and it seems to work well. I've not yet played with it to set up a "schedule" yet but far as feeding at the push of a button I enjoy that I can do that from my phone. I will be playing with the alexa capabilities later but so far I think that this is a good purchase. Will update or add to my review if I find otherwise.

The media could not be loaded.  This feeder has satisfactory automation with the Smart Life app. Awkward and bulky but usable for a small tank.We've used this for our 5 gallon tank when we've been out of town. We've set it up a few times over the last 6 months (the longest was for 3 weeks). It's worked well enough to keep our fish shrimp and snail alive.It seems like the bad reviews for this come from people having trouble using the WiFi function. You don't have to use the co-branded apps especially if you're already using Smart Life or Tuya.It takes some trial and error to get the opening small enough for the tiny amount of flake food our tank 5 gallon needs. The actual feeder canister and rotating mechanism seem to be of ok build quality but the mounting bracket feels like it could break easily. We ended up taking out one of the plastic screws then using a styrofoam block to get the feeder to solidly attach to the tank. We also had to make a custom lid with a hole for the food since our tank is completely covered with the stock lid.Flakes come out inconsistently when the feeder is set to the minimum opening. When we're gone for more than a few days we keep the feeder opening small to avoid over feeding. Then setup a webcam to watch the tank and can use Smart Life to activate the feeder over the internet (and also control the pump via a seperate smart plug) to give our little pets some bonus food if needed.

Easy wifi setup. Timer feeding or on demand feeding can be set up using the iLonda apps. I added an iLonda smart plug to turn on my aquarium lights as well as my lights outside the garage.

I love this especially when I go out of town. Works great! Easy to use and set up.
