Effective no hassle solar flood light
This is a very good solar motion floodlight, and I highly recommend it. After nearly two years of use, it is going strong, and I only have positives to say about it.It is incredibly fine-tunable. I have my set up where I park my car in an alley. I do not want it to get triggered when people walk or drive by, but only when someone is near the car. You can accurately set the distance that the motion sensor activates, and it is highly accurate. You can also set the length of time the light turns on.I have several different solar motion lights and this one almost never is triggered by light movement of leaves or unknown sources. When this light turns on, it's because it should be on. Other motion lights seemingly constantly turn on for no reason. It is easy to set up with a long cord for the solar panel so that you can place it reasonably far away.It seems durable, with no signs of UV damage or water infiltration into the solar panel, LED housing, or electronics. I will certainly get this again if I have another location that needs a similar setup. When, inevitably, it does break, it will be a no-brainer to buy another.I hope it works out for you if you need a lighting solution and do not have AC power to wire it into. Best of luck.

Works Wonderful After Upgrading the Batteries!
I have a set of these on my house for the front yard, and a set on the house for the back yard, for my dogs. The motion detector is great, as it detects motion at 70 plus feet out, on both of my sets of lights. However, neither of my sets of lights, seem to detect motion well if not set to maximum distance. At first, I had problems with the 1200mAh batteries. They were draining down to nothing very fast within a couple of days, and I would have to take them out and recharge them in my charger. This was mainly for the set in the back yard, because of the air conditioner setting them off a lot, so the lights would hardly light up. The set in the front yard was also draining fast. So, I replaced the batteries in both sets with some Taken 3000mAh batteries, and now after 2 months both sets are still working great. The lights are very bright every time motion is detected.I do recommend removing the batteries and topping them up a couple of times the first week, by putting them in an 18650 charger, to recharge them up to their full capacity. Then you should be good to go. As I have not had to take them out to charge them up again. These lights have been in 50 to 60 mph winds for a few nights in a row, 3 to 4 days and nights of continuous rain, and many days of 95 to 100 degrees weather, and they have never failed to detect motion, and light up to full power every time. With the extra capacity 3000mAh batteries, I would never set the lights to come on constantly, as you might burn the lights out from being on for a long time. Any time under 120 seconds should be fine. I have my front lights set to come on for 30 seconds, and the back lights to come on for 15 seconds. The backyard set will stay on as my dog moves along the yard, or starts to walk around some more, so a longer time is not needed, which also helps because of my air conditioner. I did move the lights over a few feet a couple of times which also helps. So that set is not directly over the air conditioner. The motion detector is very sensitive though, which is a good thing.I have had 3 other brands of solar lights, and they were all a waste of money. I was very hesitant to purchase these, as I had little faith in any solar lights being good enough.I am so happy to have purchased these, as after upgrading the batteries, they are everything that I was looking for. You will not find any of these lights that are perfect. These are as good as it gets.

Great exterior light
This is my 2nd time buying this light. Getting it mounted was not very complicated and it has been working effectively for almost a year now. Great light for mounting outdoors to save on energy. Looks pretty nice once mounted as well.

Easy installation
Update:I've had the light installed for a few days and it's been working great. Last night it didn't work at all. No amount of motion would set it off. Not charging? Nope, that's not the issue. I climbed up a ladder and slid the switch from auto to off and then to on. Nothing. Switch to off and back to on and the light comes on at full power. Switch to auto and the light is still on. Climb down the ladder. Soon, the light goes off. I run around beneath it and get no response. The light stays off. I climb the ladder and play with it again with the same results. Auto doesn't seem to be working. The light is clearly fully charged. I'll bring it into the house tomorrow and mess with it. It's a nice light - when it works. I really don't want to send it back for replacement.Grumpy old man here. I built my workshop between my and my neighbors property because he has a motion light on his back porch that always seems to be on, Even though that light is a couple of hundred yards away he has a bright bulb in it that is irritating when I'm sitting out in my backyard at night. It doesn't light my yard. I just see the bright bulb that is pointed in my direction and it is distracting. Now that I've built my workshop, I no longer see his light from my backyard, but after installing this motion light I returned the favor and pointed one of the light panels at my neighbor. You CAN get satisfaction. An easier installation you couldn't ask for. I took the mounting plate off of the back of the light and screwed it to the wall of my workshop. I slipped the light onto the mounting plate. I screwed the solar panel onto the eave of the workshop and plugged the power cord into the light. Flip the switch to 'auto' and done. This motion light is good sized and bright filling a frequently traveled part of my property with plenty of light. The motion detection is very sensitive. I have it set for maximum detection and distance. I don't know why I took so long to do this, but I'm glad I finally got it done. I'm very happy with this motion light. No, my light doesn't shine into my backyard so I'm not irritating myself.
