Very happy with these. Thought they might be too small when I took them out of the packaging, but when I put them on, they fit perfectly. The waistband wasn't too tight around my stomach and the leg bands fit nicely around my thighs. The beige is a bit darker than my natural skin tone, so it works well as a slip. The length of the leg is perfect to prevent any kind of chub rub. If the color was more opaque, they would work perfectly as biking shorts.Honestly, very impressed with the quality of these. I will probably buy more in different colors in the future.

It is only fair. For me, it was uncomfortable and did not fit properly.

I bought these to wear these in the summer under skirts and dresses and they work wonderfully! They stay in place for the most past and don't ride up or down. And they stretch up over my stomach so I don't feel like I have to suck in all day. But they're not shape wear by any means. They're thin enough so I don't get too hot wearing them but thick enough to be comfortable and protect against dreaded chub rub. I am 175 lbs and 5" 4" and wear size 14 pants. I got an XL and they are comfortable but due to the stretchyness, I could have probably have gotten a large and been fine. I personally like these things not too tight. Great buy and great price!

I've worn nothing but Vanity Fair bras for years because they're the only ones that seem to actually do what bras are supposed to do. So when I needed a no-show undergarment for underneath shorter dresses, this was at the top of my list-- and for only $7! But I really should have known better. My waist is 28", and my hips are 42". Finding pants of any kind has always been a struggle-- and while these fit just fine in the leg (very soft, slippery feel so your clothes don't bunch up,) they hit a point in the waist where they started to dig in, and then roll down. The last thing you want to do while wearing a dress is flip up the skirt and straighten things out! So this is going back. I think a wider waistband would fix the issue. If you're not built curvy and need something under dresses, this is for you.

I took another reviewer's advice, and ordered a size down to get some compression. I would say they smoothed my hips some, but not as much as a pair of control top pantyhose. I think to smooth my hips as much as I want, I would have to resort to spanx (which I do own, but only wore once, due to how uncomfortable they are). I think this is a good compromise between the complete comfort of just wearing normal under wear, and the discomfort of spanx. I wouldn't want to go 2 sizes down, as I did get a slight muffin top effect at the waist. The material was very smooth and comfortable. Overall, a very worthwhile purchase. I am curvy, so someone else might get more of a muffin top effect with sizing down. My waist is 27 inches. My hips are 40 inches. I ordered a size small.

Add up all the positive reviews, multiply x10 & you get as positive a review as I have ever given any product. I really liked the review that pointed out it has 7% Spandex (as opposed to, well not that). S/he’s absolutely right.Right out of the package (no, I didn’t rinse them 1st- sue me) I wore them 3 hrs in the car to get where I was going; 3 hours to do what I went for and 3 hours back. No rolling, creeping, chafing- no unpleasantness. Best of all, they didn’t compress enough cramp my guts up. Shape Wear w/10% Spandex really irritates my IBS. Sitting in the car that long always makes my gut even more out of rhythm than it normally is.

Much more see through than I expected. I know they are a shapewear, but in all photos, they are completely opaque.i even bought a couple sizes larger due to my fear of this. I guess they will definitely have to be an undergarment, instead of purpose I intended for them. I intended them to be a very comfortable short to wear under midi dresses, for modesty's sake.

I use these under every dress in the summer to avoid chaffing (already have 3 pairs). I’ve tried 4-5 other brands and these are just the most practical/comfortable for me. They don’t ride up or tear. They’re minimal support which is fine as I generally wear loose maxi/midi dresses. They’re light and airy; a summer essential.

So far so good, I love wearing dresses in the summer but was not so much any more because of my recent weight gain; I cannot stand the chub rub! These are a lifesaver without adding the bulk, or heat of wearing actual bike shorts. These are super lightweight, so far seem really breathable. I've only worn them once. They are very sheer, silky, and see through, so don't expect to be doing somersault in your skirts. But they are more than modest enough. There is the added benefit, because of the silkyness, that they create better movement between you and your outer layer. It's like losing 5lbs. I guess that's why they're called "slip" shorts. But they don't constrict squish your guts or anything.I'm approximately 5'6", 190 lb. I bought the extra large. There seems to be extra room but they're not baggy. The thighs haven't creeped up, and the waist doesn't roll down, with the exception if you pull it up higher than your natural waist and bend over. The fabric is very stretchy!I love that there is no seam in the crotch or inner thigh, it's the reason I tried these over others. This is brilliant design feature, I only wish it was a cotton gusset. But other than that these are perfect.I'm a convert. I will be buying more of these in other colours.

The garment fits as expected. The size I selected is perfect. The only issue I've noticed so far is that when I wore it under a poplin (woven cotton) dress, the skirt inexplicably started climbing up. I was hoping to wear this in place of a slip, but it won't work with this dress. Otherwise, it really is ideal for wearing under my cotton-knit dresses. I'll probably order another or two.

Really awesome! I live in dresses and the chub rub is real, sometimes you just don't want to deal. I normally wear a 1x or US 18, but I was cautious and ordered a size up - they fit a tad loose for shaping but are awesome thigh protectors!I wore them for an 8 hour retail workday and though the waistband seems thin they stayed in place all day, and the fabric breathed well, no outrageous sweating. I'm probably going to order another pair a size down for actual slimming!

I like the length and overall comfortable feel of this underwear. It's soft and stretchy. I'm 5 ft tall, 135 lb and ordered size Large. The 1.5 inch waistband is comfortable and the leg length is good for me but the legs are just a bit tighter than I'd like. I will keep them because they are all, overall, great - but because I prefer a slightly relaxed fit my next order will be size XL.

A lot of reviews had me second guessing my purchase because people were using it for mainly a slip cover for under their dresses & pants, or making it seem like it was a panty hoes material, therefore see threw and rips easily.I wanted to buy these because I was looking for woman's cycling short to wear around the house or run errands outside, made from a mix of nylon and spandex. (Perfect athletic material) They arrived really quickly and super soft, thick enough material that they won rip by being poked or pulled too hard and they seem squat proof thus far. I ordered the nude and black color.
