For little kids, love is an abstract concept, they can't touch it, or lay their hands Lon it, but they can feel it, and this cute, simple book walks them through understanding, embracing, and appreciating the feeling/emotion... As well as helping them understand it is "universal" in that their friends also love their friends and family.I like the way it explains loving birthdays, because they make you extra happy... It puts birthdays in a positive light that seems like it would discourage jealousy, and encourage kids to support one another in living their birthday.

At the beginning Elmo sings you a song. He loves when you come and visit. Elmo wants to learn about Love. Elmo and Dorothy, the goldfish, Love their families. Elmo Loves his friends. What does his friends love? You get to listen/read to find out. Don't you Love it!!I The illustrations are whimsical and the storyline is true Elmo. I highly recommend this Happy book.

Our toddler grandchild loves anything that has to do with Elmo. She carries this book around from room to room, reads it herself, and wants it read to her.

Love this book! Reads like a segment of elmos world. Is a short Book but each page has a lot on it to entertain a toddler.

Fitting Valentine gift for toddler. Not much of a book. A month later, think it has been read 2 or 3 times. Meh.

Elmo teaches about love. Sweet story with familiar Sesame Street characters and fun graphics. Young children will enjoy this book.

granddaughter loves Elmo. It’s okay but not the best quality. Think will tear easy.

Elmo loves this and that in the sweet story which my four year old seemed to enjoy me reading to him.

opens toddler's to different concepts of love. ie. love for parents, love for a favourite toy/food. used this book for a focus shelf about Valentine's day (for a toddler of 20 months old)

That's all that matters, is that the twins loved them.
