Swedish FishAssorted Soft & Chewy Candy, Bulk Candy, 12 - 3.5 oz Boxes

Update: April 2024My Amazon account shows I’ve purchased this box of Swedish fish 10 times over the last few years. Period. The last two times the fish have been stale, super tough, chewy and horrible. I literally have thrown them away. They’re not edible. I won’t risk buying them here online anymore. Previously, before the last two at least three of them were the freshest fish ever. So soft and flavorful. Others have been pretty well normal but these last two have been absolutely horrible and they weren’t expired. They were still like six months left to the expiration date so I don’t know if it’s how they’re stored or they’ve been in extreme temperatures or what. I think in order to be fresh you need at least a year or more before the expiration date.ORiGINAL REVIEW:First and foremost these are the freshest Swedish Fish I have ever had. There are only 17 fish in the package which comes out to 0.75 per box at a cost of $9.00 for 12 boxes. As a Prime member shipping is free so overall a bargain. Fish are sealed in a cellophane bag inside the box. The one drawback is that there is no uniformity on the colors you get. One box had 7 yellow (my least favorite) and 2 green, 3 red and 5 orange. Love these though and have ordered again. Especially handy during the pandemic lock down. As long as the price stays close to $9.00 I will be a regular buyer. UPDATE: I ordered a second box and while they weren't as fresh they were still good and soft enough. Update: third box received and they are as fresh as the first box. Ordered in May 2020, Best if used by date on box was Feb 2021.

There's not enough in each box for the money and they were not as soft as I thought they should be.

I do the assorted, because it makes me feel like a kid again. In the stores, you could only get the red Swedish fish. For some reason, it's hard to find the assorted flavored

Sometimes movie theater style candy holds very little candy. These boxes of Swedish fish did not disappoint.

Very disappointed , the product was stale and not fresh. Have purchased many times before and it was great. This order was terrible.

The order was delivered in less than 24 hours after being placed and the candy is neatly packaged and very fresh. These have a nice assortment of flavors. I don't like the red ones and most boxes are overloaded with red, but these were nicely distributed. A high five to the company and shipper.
