I was about to recycle my HP Elitebook 820 G2 because it would not recharge the battery. I didn't know the battery was replaceable, but went on Amazon and found several. Saw enough reviews and questions answered that I figured out how to "slide the switch" on the back. I tried and opened the back, then ordered this battery. Fits perfectly, works well. (I bought the PC used / refurb, so don't know if it works 'like new', but it works. Charges quickly. What a deal!

Replacing a battery that would no longer charge, very easy to install, works as expected.

Product was delivered in a cushioned mailer and not a box. Evidently damaged in shipment by an object lying on top of it which slightly distorted the plastic shell of the battery and left a "dent" mark. Battery works though.

Must have better connections, the original battery wouldn't charge without taking it out and replacing again to get it to charge. New batttery also lasts longer on a charge.

So, just received and installed this battery. Charged per instructions and then ran the computer on battery power. It seems to operate and last as long as the original batter in my HP 820 G2 laptop.I don't think I could have done any better for the money!I will continue to use and update my review if performance changes.

Easy to install

My wife's kept her old HP when they upgraded at her work. The battery would run down rather quickly so I replaced it with one of these. Now it works perfectly.

The battery charged up once and wouldn't charge again. Unfortunately, the return window had closed before we had the chance.
