I could have ordered a small if they had one (female) but the medium works. I am in love with this jacket. No, it's not gonna be good for hunting (too noisy) but omg the quality and warmth is top notch. For fishing and farm/ranch chores you just can't beat this jacket, and it's stylish to boot. My friends are always admiring it and I tell them go get your own. It's probably going to outlast me it's built that well.I live where the wind will cut you in two like a cold knife and I don't feel anything with this jacket on. Definitely rainproof and yes if you need to plunge your hands into cold water those neoprene velcro wrist straps keep water out. It is such sturdy fabric, love the color, plenty of pockets and those incredibly soft fluffy lined pockets are a game changer! I haven't put hand warmers in the pouches yet but will try that out. This is an excellent fishing jacket (or just around town or on the farm) and paired with some waders ur good to go up against any weather. Best jacket I've ever owned.

I bought this jacket for my husband who is an avid fly fisherman. It had very good reviews and I am so glad that I ordered it for him. It fits perfectly, it’s very warm, and very very comfortable. Has awesome pockets, and even a place for handwarmers. The hood works perfectly as well. I highly recommend this coat. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

I have not worn this in rain yet. However I did where it tucked into my waders the other day fishing for steelhead. It was 21f when we launched and this jacket did great on blocking the wind and the occasional spray from rapids we rafted through. Combined with my layers, it helped keep me warm and dry. The fit is good and a bit roomy. The fit did not hinder my Spey casting which is good because I hinder my casting enough on my own.The odd down side is that the system for tucking the hood away is ridiculous and cheap. Like many hooded jackets you roll the hood down, tuck it into the flaps, and secure it. Instead of metal snaps or a zipper, they give you two cheap buttons and a thin elastic loops to button the hood roll down. My right side loop lasted about 3 seconds and broke. Really cheap and flimsy. I call this out because it’s such an oddly cheap and flimsy system on an otherwise decent quality item.

The top and bottom combo with rainboots beats out any other weatherproof protective clothing I have ever worn. Snug and Stylish, this product should set the standard for the modern wet-worker. The front pockets contain soft, water proof fabric to warm and dry your hands while you work, the bill on the hood extends far over the bill on your cover, to keep even your favorite hat dry! I walk through storms wearing this getup just to make my friends mad once I doff it and stand completely dry.10/10.

I bought this jacket for a seasonal job in Alaska and so far it has exceeded all expectations. The fit is great, very good build quality and very comfortable. The fleece lined pockets are an excellent addition and make a world of difference. I've worn it out in the driving rain for 7 hours at a time and was fully dry underneath. I fully recommend this jacket.

I wanted something completely water proof and wind proof, and warmer than my frog toggs. Not too warm though, because I like to layer in cold weather. The coat and bibs are perfect. You'll love it.
