My First Holy Qur'an for Little Children

I recently purchased three books... a Children's Jewish Bible, a Children's Christian Bible, and this one. We took turns reading from each to the kids. This should never have been published.Minor points: it has generally a low quality production value and only 7 vague stories inside.More significantly: 1 of the 7 stories is the end of days... there's no lesson in here about living a good life, it's just a series of terrorizing pictures and descriptions that resulted in my 6 year old breaking down in tears when we read it. Now she's unwilling to open it up again. It's not written for children, unless the goal was to scare them. And no, in case you were thinking that perhaps it had some great lesson tied to that to try to drive better behavior, don't expect so. It's literally just scary without any redeeming guidance or teaching.Additionally, the other stories do a far less detailed job describing any of the significant passages. It glosses over things with a high level description, but the stories aren't particularly engaging and it's really hard to pull a lesson or a meaning or symbolism from the tales. Imagine a singsong rhyme that said Noah got on a boat and it rained... there you go, lesson over, chapter finished.Stay away. We'll be looking for a better alternative.

This book is well organized to introduce children to Islam. The quality of the book and pictures is not very high but the content is good. I recommend this book for convert parents wanting to teach their children about why we choose Islam as a way of life.

Rather cultural pictures, but all races and all Abrahamic religions are mentioned and pictured. Could be suitable for interreligious Childrens programs

I am pregnant, and I love reading this to my little one in the middle of the night when he or she is dancing away in my belly. I am so excited to be able to read this in a few months.

Macha Allah.This is really easy and simple book but enough for the kids to understand about the importance of respecting parents and all.My son understood that is mother day every days

Very rich book and totally above expectations. It turned out that I am learning from it more than the children.

This is a terrible introduction to islam to the little ones. If anything this will give your kids nightmares. It talks about Jinn and hell fire with vivid illustrations. I don't see the need of putting this in a first Quran book. I have removed the book from my kids room as it is not what I want to teach them about islam.
