Best engineered case I've used
I built my first computer system back in the early 1980's and have built dozens for myself, family and friends since. Lights, bells, colors and shapes are all aesthetically pleasing but I also look for a well built carefully thought out case to house my systems. The Corsair Carbide 400R case is hands down the best engineered case I have used. With rubber grommeted passageways located throughout the chassis, cable management is a breeze regardless of what type and number of components you have to install. With a little planning a regular "cabled" power supply can look better than a modular setup does in most other cases. Ventilation/cooling is highly customizable. This case comes with three 120mm fans (2 front, 1 rear), and has mounting locations for 5 additional 120mm or 140mm fans (2 top, 1 bottom, 2 in left side). I installed 1 extra 120mm fan in the side mount location to help cool the large overclocked graphics card sitting inside, but the three stock fans are more than adequate for almost any system including gaming rigs. There is yet a second fan mount on the bottom of the case but your power supply will occupy it. An internal 240mm water cooling radiator will fit over the two left side fan mount locations inside the case for those needing/wanting extreme OC protection/cooling. It's even ready for an external water cooling system with grommeted tube entries/exits located in the back of the case. All hard drive and optical bays provide tooless installs and actually work extremely well. It took me 20 seconds to install a blue ray/dvd burner and SSDs. The bottom mount power supply area is very spacious making the 750 watt unit I installed appear small. Looks like it would accommodate any size power supply you might need. I installed a massive CPU heatsink with two 120mm fans and had plenty of room/clearance. It will hold the biggest NVIDIA graphics cards with a couple of inches to spare. The overall build quality of this case is higher than any of the name brand cases I used in the past. The only caution I would give those looking at this or any mid-tower case involves its size. Make sure you have the room for it. Over the past few years I used Corsair power supplies exclusively due to their quality/price point, now I'm becoming a fan of their cases as well.

Solidly constructed, good-looking case
Excellent case... plenty of room inside, and it's got a unique cable management system l've never seen before on mass-produced computers. This was my second home build, so I wanted something special without breaking the bank. The only problem with the case they sent me is that the button activating the front fan LEDs doesn't work, even though everything is properly attached to the motherboard. This was something I didn't notice until after the machine was completed and the OS was installed. The rear exhaust fan is also a 3-pin variety, so if your motherboard supports 4-pin fans and you want the computer to automatically adjust the fan speed for optimal cooling, then you'll want to replace this (the two front fans weren't an issue, since they had their own special motherboard interface). I replaced the stock rear fan with two Noiseblocker NB eLoop fans. Installation of hard drives is literally a snap, and if you want to install various optical drives, it's convenient to do that as well. At this price (and due to the great design and good looks of this box) the Corsair 400R is worth what I paid, even considering the bad LED selector switch and having to change out the rear fan.

Amazing quality and features for a great price
I just got this to replace the very generic tower case I had originally gotten for my first DIY gaming system. The original had several problems including front panel audio did not work and the cooling was abysmal. The reviews were excellent and the price was very right so I expected something pretty good.Even with those high expectations I have to say I was surprised with the way this case made it easy to install all the components, keep the cabling neat, and especially install all the drives. And when I had everything installed I could see that the airflow was really well done - bottom mount PSU takes cool air in from below and expels to the rear, front fans cool the hard drives and a rear fan at the top expels what hot air does not leave via the generous side and top vents via stack effect. My system and CPU are running easily 20C cooler than in the old case (although to be fair I also added a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler with Four Direct Contact Heat Pipes (RR-B10-212P-G1). Overall even though this system has about 3 more fans than my previous setup it is actually quieter as well, a very nice bonus.I particularly appreciated the grommeted openings allowing me to run SATA and power cables behind the motherboard pan to the drives so they did not get in the way of me working or the airflow, and I also liked how the case came with all its wires neatly run as they were out of the way and available just where I needed them. The screw-less drive bays really saved time and hassle on installation, my only quibble is that they do not make any provision for 2.5" drives - I still had to put my SSD into a 2.5" to 3.5" adaptor. Still, its a small inconvenience, especially since I had one on hand already. BTW, the way the drives are mounted perpendicular to the from of the case makes getting to and installing/swapping drives super easy.A small but nice touch - lots of screws were provided, each type in its own bag and pictures to tell which were which. Another small but nice touch are the tool-less screws holding on the sides that stay in the sides when you take them off. And I love the handle on the top. Altogether, this case is full of nice touches.Last, the lights behind the front panel and fans make for a very cool look. It really added to the mood when my son turned down the room lights and fired up Battlefield 3 (Steam)!

Carbide 400R is Excellent buy but the price is double of its actual retail price.
The case is very good and sturdy. I have been able to attach the h100i liquid cooler with caveat of 4 screws less. The case comes with 2 front fans and 1 exhaust fan. The air flow within the system is excellent and case supports for ATX and micro ATX motherboards. I am using Asus z97 wifi pro motherboard on this case. Cable management is excellent in this box. I had purchased from amazon India on 9th July 2015 for Rs 6950 and internationally the price for this box is $99. Currently the price being shown is top of the roof and clear fleecing of indian customers. In Economics it is called price fluctuation due to Demand Vs Supply. In India it is called price fluctuation due to hoarding.

Up to 10 fans.Great Space!!!.Be careful with the plastic tray does't look that will handle a lot of pressure everything else if just wonderful.Even for being a mid tower it is a huge tower. Heavy and well made. ReallyHappy with it. A bunch of screws comes with it as well.

Alta qualità costruttiva e design pulito e ordinato.
Case magnifico, ottimo prodotto.

Produit nickel
Grande, aspect sobre, noir profond, beaucoup d'espace intérieur.
