Circulon Acclaim Hard Anodized Nonstick Casserole Dish/Casserole Pan with Lid - 4.5 Quart, Black

I purchased this to replace a 6 yr old worn out teflon pan of the same size but different brand. This is a great pan, the perfect for size for cooking for two. The design is superb with the straining lid, pour spouts, rubberized handle, and even a ring for hanging that fits flat into the end of the handle. After 6 months of use it still looks like new. It is slightly more difficult to clean than teflon, but seems like it will last longer and be safer since there doesn't appear to be a coating to wear off like teflon.Update: After 2 years, 8 months of use the anodized nonstick on the bottom of the pan shows significant wear where the annodized nonstick has worn off. I used a mixture of utensil materials with this pan which likely contributed to the wear. If I purchase this again I'll always only using non-metal utensils with this pan.

It is a beautiful, functional, sturdy, and easy to cook in and clean pot. I just love it.

Good size pot for good portion cooking. Well made pot that conducts heat well. Love the rubberized handle & lid knob that prevent me from burning my hand unintentionally. The poring spout and strainer lid are the features that I can't live without. Trust me folks, you don't need to use them every time you cook, but they, alone, worth the price you paid.

I LOVE these pans with the strainer lids!I've owned several in my life, and they are a lifesaver for people with arthritis (like me), or just sick of being burned, or dumping half the contents of your pan into the sink by accident.Big and small holes on opposite sides of the lid make it easy to drain big veggies faster, while still giving the option to drain pasta without losing any.Teflon interior makes them easy to clean, and I put mine in the dishwasher with no issues.Nice weight, allows for my hands to hold it without struggle, but still heavy enough not to feel cheap.The only improvement would be the handle. It's fine on the stove, but carrying anything hot in a round-handled pan can be dangerous. Flattening out the top of the handle would allow you to control it better, but overall, this is a great option.

Meaning that the design is great for pouring off excess liquid. The lid has holes on 2 sides for using with the pour spouts on the side of the pot. The holes on each side are of different sizes to permit choice of drainage according to size of food pieces. This is the best design for sauce pan I have ever used. Then add the non stick, easy care, I don't mind not being able to use a dishwasher -- using a dishwasher on this pot would be overkill. It just needs hot water with a bit of detergent and a wipe to be clean .

Yep it is just a pot, but as soon as this was out of the packaging the quality was apparent. It is well balanced, the handle on both the lid and the pot feel great, it sits extremely flat on the burner, and after cooking a soup in it, the total release system really works extremely well (just like the Circulon pans).I really, really like the lid on this thing - it has the strainer functionality, but that handle is designed very well and I don't think there is any way this would fail. I might return this pot and purchase the Acclaim pots and pans set - I wish they would just sell a pot set though. I have 4 Acclaim pans already.

I recently remodeled my kitchen and wanted new cookware to replace my 30 year old pots. Excellent quality. No stick without chemicals. Easy clean. Will last the next 30 years
