Puppy Styled: Japanese Dog Grooming: Before & After Kindle Edition

Love this book!

But what a fun book for those who already know how to handle clippers and scissors or those who like pics of before and after Japanese -style grooming. Sometimes adorable and sometimes kind of silly, they are all worth a look! Here's my boy with a "regular" cut I gave him. It helps that he's so cute to begin with!

Adorable book that’s easy to flip through. I was on a tight budget for the holidays this year, and since my parents are both dog-lovers, this was the perfect gift for them. Our family bichon passed last year and our family’s running joke was always about styling him vs. other dogs’ styles. We really enjoyed going through the book and imagining the lives of these precious creatures. We’ve all been struggling with our dog’s death and this book brought a little bit of puppy joy back into our lives at a time when we are all a little too emotionally fragile to adopt a new dog. It was charming to see these transformed pooches who still conveyed unique characters on every page. Highly recommend, especially to dog-lovers unable to own their own pups.

This book is only before and after pictures. Do not make the same mistake as me expecting information in the grooms. There isn’t really words to read in this book.

I happened to be in a bad mood when my Puppy Styled book arrived—and it *completely* pulled me out of my funk. The first page I flipped to made me laugh out loud from the cuteness alone. You can really see the personality of each of these dogs, which Grace deftly captures in her photography. (I think you need to be a bit of a dog whisperer to get this many pups to look you squarely in the eyes/lens one after the other.) I love the idea of before & after grooming photos, designed in a clean, modern format. The size is pretty awesome too...just under 8 x 8. I plan to keep this at work with me when I need some stress relief!

Only worthwhile as a picture bookunless you're a Dog Groomer.

These "before and after" dog grooming transformations are positively hypnotic to look at! The dogs are all so adorable, and to see them go from shaggy to stylish is just pure joy. I literally smiled my way through every page and even laughed out loud a few times, as some of these Japanese grooming styles are truly over the top! And you can almost sense the dogs' attitude shift in their expressions from before to after, like they're feelin' so fresh and fancy with their extreme makeover. This book would definitely make a great no-brainer gift for just about anyone, so I'll probably get a few more to have on hand. Highly recommend!

A fresh hair cut can be transformative — for people and for dogs! This book made me smile all the way through. I wonder what my dog could look like... some of these puppers look eerily similar to people after their cuts — think fur that appears curled, in a Mohawk, or even crimped!

Mooi boek, zou het leuk hebben gevonden om wat tips/tricks in t boek te lezen, maar het zijn alleen foto's van before and after. Wel erg mooie foto's! Lijkt of er veel moeite in is gestoken

Dieses Buch ist ohne Text. Es zeigt auf Doppelseiten immer ein Vorher und ein Nachher Portrait, von Teils sehr speziellen ( skurrilen) Hunden .Die Bilder sind schön bearbeitet, die Schnitte immer sehr akkurat. Zum anschauen ist es ganz süß, als Lehrwerk um Japanese Dog Grooming Schnitte zu sehen und erlernen, halte ich es für ungeeignet.

It has some great before and after pictures. I have two Shish Tzus, I think I will take the book to my dogs groomer and see if she can do something similar to the pictures. The book has great pictures of many many breeds. This is definitely one book that is going on my coffee table for all my company to look at.
