Ok, if you're using this bowl for crackers such as goldfish, it holds about five and half- 6 ounces. If you are using it for snacks such as fruits like apples, a medium-sized Apple cut up into cubes will fit in this with the lid on no problem. Of course if you are using it for more of a thin kind of liquid, such as milk or water it fits about 5 ounces comfortably with a lid on. Hope this helps.
