Cheap quality
Generally cheap quality. In particular the bolts are so soft that the head cams out and gets trashed just from the force of collapsing the barrel. I had to buy a box of m4 machine screws to replace those that came with the anchors. Cheaper would have been to buy better quality anchors in the first place.

Great sheetrock fastener
It's great to find a source for Molly's. These are not as well built as the old ones were but they're still a great type of fastener

Get the tool!!
Love these as they were the only size that would work for installing shelving and a butcher block onto my thick plaster and lath with no studs (nightmare, right?) these did the trick! Used all of them for the pantry project, and was super glad I purchased the tool separately- I think with the tool I only ruined 5 screws and can imagine that figure tripled if I had tried to do them manually.

Saved my stove hood.
I live in a house with on old plaster wall, and it's very difficult at times to get things mounted to a wall. I have a hood over my stove that I mounted straight to the wall because there is nothing to mount it "under" and I at least wanted one of those cheap hoods with the fan and the filter to keep all the steam and grease from disbursing all over the kitchen and condensing on the walls.Well, for the left side I found a stud and got a couple huge screws in there, but for the right side I used some mounting solution designed for modern wallboard and that failed over a couple months as the plaster around the wall anchors slowly deteriorated. So, I decided to give molly bolts a try, so I pulled out the drywall anchors and put in molly bolts that fit the holes most precisely, and they worked great, and now my stove hood is securely attached to the wall. So, this was the perfect solution just when I needed it.

These molly bolts (wall anchors) are for heavy duty tasks.. and well built -- very impressive!
I opted to get these for some heavier items that I needed to hang on my walls. These would be overkill to use to hang family pictures on your wall, so make sure you know what you are getting, but anyways, great wall anchors, very strong, and very well built.I also recommend users to use only setting tools (guns) to fasten these molly tools (wall anchors). It's a lot easier, faster, and prone free to go wrong -- never try to screw these bolts into a wall, it will fail a lot.I've attached two pictures showing two types of setting tools that I use with these molly bolts. I prefer the "red" one, but the "blue" one has a more of a ratchet type of mechanism, that should be easier for those that don't have much strength to squeeze the red setting tool with their hands (Hulk Power!) with one full squeeze.I do like the different sizes that this set includes, makes it easier for most tasks and thickness of walls, keeping in mind that these molly bolts are for heavier items.

Works good but might be better options out there
I purchased these along with the tool to install them. The tool is a must-have for this type of molly. I have used these mollies for many years without the tool and suffered the consequences. I do believe there are better options available with different types of mollies that don't require a tool to install and have as much of greater holding power. Just do your research and choose what would work best for your project.

Great solution for attaching heavy items to drywall
This is not a new type of anchor but one that has been around for years. It has a good reputation for its ability to secure heavy objects to drywall but I have always had twisting issues when installing the anchor by turning the supplied bolt clockwise to "set" the anchor. This time I bought the suggested Anndason Metal Setting Tool and it made all the difference. I use the tool to pull the anchor arms into place (behind the drywall) and finish up by tightening up the bolt until the anchor flange begins to press into the wall board. With this technique I am able to secure the anchor firmly in place and I have confidence that whatever I attach to my wall is secure. An 11/32" drill bit is about the right size for the hole.

Works fine
I recently purchase a selection of sizes and needed a bunch of the 4x32 - these work just fine. However, I use the wall anchor tool which saves me a lot of aggravation (https://smile.amazon.com/Anndason-Setting-Hollow-Cavity-Plasterboard/dp/B0711S75N9/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=wall+anchor+tool&qid=1576586400&sr=8-5). Without the tool, I used to go destroy these things about a rate of 2 out of 4! I haven't destroyed a single one since I started using the tool

Crap
Poor quality, they do not grip wall at all. You'll end up repairing holes from having to remove them. Do not buy.

Poor quality - threads get pulled out when anchoring
I had to run to the hardware store and buy a different brand to complete my job- mid job. I was extremely unhappy with this- but all the m4 type anchors in this package gave way at the threads when pulling the anchors rendering it useless. They then had to be removed. This product unfortunately isn’t up to par. I ended up throwing the rest of the package out.

Needs the specialized setting tool
These were very difficult to use without the setting tool. I thought they would set themselves when tightened, but all of them spun around instead of setting. I figured out how to do it finally, but some got ruined in the process. If you are not prepared to also buy the setting tool, then select another solution.

Not Heavy Duty
Tossed half of the packet in the bin. The nut strips extremely easy when tightening. Very soft metal, and as the nut stripped, it was not difficult at all breaking the anchor out of the wall to throw away.

Do Not Buy. Cheap Metal
Very cheap metal. Several anchors broke or bent as I was tapping them into pre-drilled holes. Would not recommend.
