Great Quality but definitely don't use sand
This is a great product. Very well built with heavy duty materials. As other reviews have mentioned you definitely don't want to fill with sand. I used popcorn and rice and it hasn't leaked anything thru the grommets. You also have to be very patient filling and make sure you keep squeezing the fill tube to keep it open. What happens is the weight of the funnel tends to collapse the tube and blocks the media from flowing. Also when it starts to get full you really have to keep tapping the bag to get the media to disperse so it gets nice and full. I thought mine was full but kept at it and got another half bag of rice in. Haven't used it at the range yetso can't give feedback on that but maybe I'll update later.

Sturdy and Reasonably Priced
The size is perfect for my pistol shooting. Its well constructed. I filled it with 5# of long grain white rice and the feel with rice should work well. The only down side, as others have mentioned, is the difficulty in filling. The problem is the opening on the bag where you put the rice in is to small and on the side of the bag. The opening is closed via velcro. I used a funnel I had for pouring oil in a car. It was about a foot long, with a wide top and the nozzle just fit completely through the opening. The process took about half an hour. The trick that made it a little easier was to slowly pour the rice into the funnel so that the rice would bounce around alot on its way down to the nozzle. It didn't clog up as much that way. The bag felt perfect after filling. I haven't used it yet to know if there is any rice leakage through the gromets. I have two suggestions. The opening needs to be wider. There is plenty of room on the bag for a location and velcro works well. Also, placing the opening on the end of the bag would make it a lot easier to adequately fill the bag quicker.

Great, useful bag for not much money.
It's nice to have a bunch of bags so you can match the bag to the need. This fills a medium sized bag need for very little money. Weight is dependent on what you fill it with. I filled mine with some lavender scented kitty litter and it's very heavy and smells nice. But if you fill it with Git-Lite, it's going to weigh 2/3 less. But Git-Lite is expensive and if you don't need it to be light, then things like rice or kitty litter are both fine.

Tough construction - nice size.
Very nice product. It took almost 5 pounds of DoubleTap plastic filler to fill this bag. The size is right for me to use as a rear bag when shooting.

Interesting shooting bag design
This is a nice sized medium shooting restaurant bag. Seems to be made of durable materials that will stand up to abuse. The bag will take some time to fill completely as the fill port is very small and will require a funnel to facilitate filling. It is important to choose the correct filler to make the bag easier to fill and will prevent the bag from leaking. The cinch cord goes all the way through the bag, through grommets. The bag will leak if you do not choose the correct size filler materials. I have filled 12 different bags, from different manufactures so far with various things like pinto beans, rice, lentils and kitty litter. This bag I filled with kitty litter that was bigger sized granules and I am glad I did because any smaller and it would leaked out the grommets, any bigger and the material would not have fit through the funnel. These bags would not be good for sand or dusty fillers. Once filled the bag is very stable and fits a rifle well.

SAND LEAKS EVERYHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Shooting Rest Bag is well made, Just a POOR DESIGN!!!!!!! You adjust the HARDNESS of the BAG by the amount of FILLER you put in the BAG. The draw string you have runing thru the bag has 4 holes that the string passes thru and this allows the sand to leak out of the bad. I removed the cord and plugged the holes with pop rivets. Redesign the bag without the 4 holes and cord so the sand or filler can't leak out. The filler tube seals it's self with velcro. Just add a piece of velcro on the outside of the bag to hold the filler tube of the bag.

Great starter bag
Great bag, perfect for a first rear gun bag. Well made and has held up great so far. I used rice as the filler and it works great, but don't overfill unless you want a stiff bag.

Leaks bad
Sand just pours out of grommets as fast as you put it in. Not a great design

It's a little small but it works well. It's great for setting on the hood of your truck to sight in your rifle.

Came exactly as described. Used rice as the filler. Extremely satisfied. Could use more gripping pads.

the hole for putting sand in is about half the size it should be. if you use sand youll have problems because there are four holes the sand leaks out of. I don't recommend. spend a little more and get a decent bag.
