The best chalk mineral paint-Made in the USA
I have professionally painted furniture, concrete figurines, golf cart seats, upholstery….you name it for many years. This is my go to brand. It’s made in Florida so made in the USA! It is a top quality product. Buy a mister bottle that sprays a fine mist (avail on Amazon) and lightly mist as you paint. If blending colors, misting bottle is your best friend. Prep is key folks! Use TSP or White Lightning by Dixie Belle and deep clean first. Remove all oils and dirt. Rinse off with a clean damp rag. Let it dry. Sand using fine sanding pads - also DB. Clean off all dust residue. Paint goes extremely far! Use mister bottle of tap water and a slightly damp brush. Allow to dry. Use fine sanding pad between coats for a buttery finish. This paint is also water and Dawn cleanup! On tops of dressers, tabletops, counters….I use Gator Hide by DB. I always use DB clear coat on everything else. Wax on top of clear coat (if using) and wipe off excess with a wet baby wipe. This works great if your distressing anything. If painting a dark color like Caviar, mix a dab of paint with your sealer in a paper bowl. You will not see brush marks on dark finishes if you do this. I prefer using nylon angled brushes. Be wary of companies that promote “no prep needed”. It is the single most important factor for a “lasting” professional outcome.

Great coverage
Great paint. Covers nicely. I should have bought a bigger jar to cover a cabinet though.

Great results with faded terracotta pots!
My DIY success rate is minimal. But I knew from the first roll that this chalk paint was going to be an easy victory. I watered it down just a bit. The roller gave it the perfect finish over this sun-faded plastic pot that I have been unhappy with for years. Buying another to do other faded pots. Fantastic results and it's my first go with chalk paint.

So easy and pretty!!!
I am the least crafty person I know… definitely not fussy or detail oriented, so if I can do this and have success so can you! I wanted to cheer up a black console table by painting it navy blue and knee chalk paint is easy/durable. I was nervous that this blue would be too French country or light, but it’s perfect. When it first went on, I panicked and thought I made a huge mistake bc it was electric blue. Like the color of painters tape. But as it dried, it became a deeper, richer, more blueberry blue. I wouldn’t call it a dark navy but it has that preppy coastal vibe I was going for. Some of the pics make it seem more smurfy blue but it’s really notThis was a very easy product to use. I lightly sanded just bc I happened to have an electric sander out (my contractors :) so I did the most minimal sanding ever. Then I dusted it and waited for the paint to be delivered today. I purchased a 4” foam roller, tray and chalk paint brush set at a home improvement store… maybe $11 total. I used the roller for 90% of the work and just used the chubby brush for the corners and tighter spots. So easy!!!! The first coat dried in 15 min or less, but I decided to do a second coat just to make sure I covered all the black. It is not required to do the second coat and I would have been fine with just one, but honestly it was fun and I wanted to keep painting😅I would definitely use this brand again and thought it was a great value. I had considered donating this table bc it didn’t match my vibe anymore, but now it has a new lease on life and will go in my front entry with a new round mirror above. Exciting stuff! 10/10 recommend
