This was a gift for my mother. She wore pearls for her wedding in 1950, but they were lost. This summer my daughter is her first grandchild to get married, and I thought it would be special for my mom to be able to wear pearls. The came quickly in a lovely box and were nicely displayed. The sizing was uniform, quality is in this product, and they are beautiful. I had her try them on and the 18" length hung nicely around her neck. The clasp is a bit tricky to figure out (maybe it's standard for pearls, I don't know), but an older person would need help with it. A plus for the clasp is that it won't come undone and you won't loose the necklace easily. Go to a website to check the size of the pearls you are ordering, these are not large, but not tiny either. So if you have a certain size, length, or look in mind check it out before you buy. Both of us are very happy with this necklace, it will look great on her, and it will become a special piece of jewelry for my mom with happy memories attached.

After a disappointing in-store experience (the saleswoman brought me FOUR pearl necklaces, NONE of which was even close to my request), I ordered the "14K Gold White Freshwater Cultured Pearl Necklace - AAAA Quality, 20 Inch Matinee Length" (6.0-6.5mm) from Amazon, supplied by The Pearl Source.The packaging was very nice quality, and my wife loves the necklace. The description was accurate-- length, quality, and pearl size. I highly recommend these and will purchase future pearls this way.While I appreciate the value of a good, knowledgable salesperson in a brick & mortar store, they seem unfortunately rare these days. This online purchase was a "win" for this husband!

I ordered the 20 inch pearl necklace for my wife as an "every day wear" piece of jewelry and she absolutely LOVES THEM! The pearls are beautiful and the length is just right! I was skeptical about purchasing freshwater, cultured pearls but all of the skepticism was removed when I saw how happy my wife was with this purchase and how beautiful the pearls were. The coloring was consistent and they don't look fake like some necklaces tend to. The price was good and she gets many complements on how nice the necklace looks! If you keep the wife happy, you can't go wrong! :-) I will be purchasing from The Pearl Source again, for sure! Thank you!

Before we married, my finance told me that she remembers her mother's strand of pearls, but it was lost and not to be found. Not knowing much about jewelry, I eventually found colleagues at work who know pearls and I was able to get my pearl smarts. So, under the tree this year, my lady found a flat blue box and was moved to tears when she opened it. She hasn't taken the strand off, except for during her shower. The presentation in the jewelry box really added to the gift giving and the necklace itself is striking. The gold clasp and silk threading is characteristic of much more expensive necklaces. I suggest paying more to get the larger pearls (I got the 8-9 mm size), and get something larger than 18 inch length, I got 20 in, but my wife is slender and it looks nice on her, with the strand reaching down just below the collarbone. If the intended recipient of the strand is a larger person, it's important to make sure the strand is long enough. If you can find out his/her neck circumference (distance around the neck) and add about 4 inches to that, the receipient will be able to model it out of the box, instead of returning it for a larger strand. To the very critical eye however, I can see that the pearls themselves are not perfectly spherical and that the small 1 mm variations in the size of the pearls can be noticeable. However, my lady did not see this, and I'm not bringing it up. If she does decide that she wants more consistency in the necklace, my friends tell me I can get it restrung and have the pearls ordered in increasing size to the middle. If that doesn't work, it looks like we are in the market for much higher priced strands.

Nice product

Pearls have a very nice shine and reflection. The string is not tied too tight and the pearls and string flow very nicely when moved through the hand. The gold clasp is beautiful. I ordered the 20" size to hang a little lower. My wife tried on some 18" pearls at the local jeweler and they were just a little short.The pearls at the jewelry store for about the same price seem to have a lower sheen and the string was tied so tied that the necklace was kinking. The salesman tried to blame it on the packaging. We didn't buy this inferior set.I ordered these blind after reading all the positive reviews and they are 100% better than the ones we saw in the store.

Wasn't sure if my wife liked pearls, as she has neever worn them before and we hadn't discussed. So took a chance and purchased these for our 30th anniversary, as this is the Pearl Anniversary. She is not tall, and I didn't want the necklace to be either too long or short. And I didn't want the pearls to be either too small or large. This turned out to be perfect for her. The pearls look very uniform both in color and roundness. The clasp is really good as it hooks and then closes, making it less likely that the necklace would fall off if the clasp were to somehow accidentlly open. And the white gold looks really great with the pearls. She was really surprised and thrilled with the gift, and loves them.

was a birthday present for my wife as she had asked for these many months ago. So today is her birthday and I presented her with a pearl necklace. It comes in a nice box for presentation. the pearls are beautiful with a string clip that I needed to figure out how to open - Just squeeze the corners and slide through. VERY well made and a great price. I looked around and amazon had the best price for this quality. Use caution when buying pearls and look for 3As or better. Do not go based on price alone or she will know the difference. these are gorgeous.

I am delighted with this necklace. It ticks all the boxes. Beautiful evenly sized pearls,lovely lustre,perfect length. I have purchased this necklace for my daughters 50th birthday. Some day I hope it will be passed down to my granddaughter. I know she is going to be delighted. The clasp is very secure and easy to fasten. The presentation box is also very good quality and delivery took only a couple of days. I cannot fault it in any way. 😊 Elizabeth
