Trumpeter Battleship USS Arizona (BB-39) 1941 Plastic Model Kit - 1/200 Scale

Starting at the beginning with the packaging you can tell they actually care about their product, everything is nicely done all of the photographs and text on the box and inside the instructions and such are crystal clear. Upon inspection of the parts and hull, I would say its a great model. Good starting point for an easy build, I will say the model isn't too small to where you'd have trouble working on fine details, but not so large that you can't fit it inside your car to drive to a show or the pond if you RC convert the ship. So its the perfect size in my opinion. My first Trumpeter model, and I'd buy from them again in a heart beat.

I have not tackled this project yet, I’m still working on my Falcon project so this is on the back burner for now. I have seen many pictures of the completed model, and have seen numerous how to videos that made this purchase an easy decision. I had been working on plans for a huge diorama that will include three models and lots of room. I really wanted a museum type model to build as the main part of the diorama and I believe this is it. This is one of the better prices I found so that is why I purchased this.

This model is just beautiful. I have seen it completed and I am so excited to get started on it myself. My only issue is I wish Trumpeter would included the whole range of possible PE. It seems to me that at the cost, the PE could be included. This, however, is a minor complaint, as aftermarket kits are available.

Great model for those that want a large scale Arizona. Decent price, rather slow shipping but worth the wait.

This is simply the best plastic model ship on the market. In my 40 years of model building, I have never had such a beautifully molded kit. It is massive both physically and in it's meticulous detail. The instruction manual is very clear and professionally laid out. Money well spent indeed !!!

This is a wonderful plastic kit of the Arizona. Parts fit very well and Trumpeter has done a fairly accurate scale model. With the upscale kits available, one can now build a museum quality model to be proud of.

I meter long...huge model, no complains with my wife still...ha! I haven't started yet, but I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Delivered on time. If you are a history buff, this warship is for you.

It is a massive model. It's bigger than the uss Nimitz 1/350 scale. The planes are in clear plastic. The hull does come in two pieces, but it does have screws that you can put in. making it more secure.
