Great product but hard to remove once inside clip.
This is a great product for the Sonim XP8 as everything about it is well made. The only knock I have (and it's not really a knock) is the belt clip has notches made on the inside designed to match the indents made on the sleve of the phone to hold it place when placed in the clip, this is very effective and I assure you that your phone won't ever slide out the clip. (LMAO) In fact if your in emergency services you don't need to worry about your phone falling out at all if running. Other than that this is an excellent product and exactly what I needed.

Cheap made, takes an act of congress to get phone out of holster. Dingy looking rubber cover. Shouldve read the reviews before buying this trash

Not Impressed
The retention on this holster is ridiculous. There is no way you are getting the phone out with one hand. You have to hold the holster down with one hand and pull the phone up with the other. Even then it is still a pain. This process is way to difficult if you have to access your phone on a regular basis. Plus there is no felt pad on the inside of the holster where the screen faces. I have notice scratches on the screen of my phone from taking it in and out of the holster. Luckily I still had the plastic protective covering on it. I have since moved on to another brand holster that is similar to this one, and it resolves all the problems that this one has.

The belt clip is sturdy and the softshell portion is decent quality material. Couple problems: the power button is very difficult to press you need to really crank down on it, but then if you have it out in cold weather it seems to shrink enough to depress the power, PTT, and volume keys all on its own. Unfortunately the softshell needs to be on the phone for it to fit correctly in the belt clip, which is the part I mainly purchased this for, the XP8 really doesn't even need a shell style case. Wish I'd looked more closely into this before buying. It's not terrible but for the price I definitely feel it could have been better.

It sucks. After placing phone in shell it didn’t fit in the holster.
The shell fits nicely but then it doesn’t fit the holster. Way to tight.
