Giron Powdered Ube and McCormick Ube Flavor

This ube package deal is ideal for flavoring baked goods or if making Halaya. It's gives a the iconic ube smell and taste. I recommend re-hydrating the ube powder before use. Great price for the product because I pay twice the amount if going to my local Asian Market for the same items. This also gives the very deep purple coloring for ube deserts but use caution with the extract because it will stain anything it touches(fingers included😊)

I have two kinds of ube flavoring and this one is perfect. You do need to use a lot in this ube cheesecake recipe.

Item arrived damaged, as bottlecap was loose and spilled purple liquid everywhere. Description says item is not returnable but is eligible for refund or replacement if damaged or defective. However, because it is a food item, it is not eligible for refund or replacement even if it is damaged. Website needs to be updated to let consumer know that there is no option for refund or replacement even if the contents are totally unusable.

I have made a few dishes but my family's favorite were the cookies. I can't wait to make donuts.

Lives up to the quality and was used immediately

The liquid was leaking when delivered. It's not eligible for return or replacement that I could figure out. I purchased this to make a gift for my granddaughter's birthday. It functioned as advertised. I think it's expensive for what you get. It should come with a warning about the purple staining. The product seems fine but I have nothing to compare it to. Biggest complaint is with packaging and Amazon for not having a way to fix the problem. I order from Amazon all the time and this is the first time I've had this issue.
