The Art of Skin Health Restoration and Rejuvenation

I am a Licensed Esthetician and I have been practicing medical grade skin care since 2003, working in the different medical offices under plastic and cosmetic surgeons. I have been using the original Obagi NuDerm Skin Care products with great success for a long time. Finding out this year that Dr. Obagi wrote a book about skin health was thrilling. It starts with the basics, but goes on into details, explaining a lot of skin issues of the modern times and generously shares his experience on what worked for him to fix it. It is the must read for any practice that specializes in bringing patients skin back to health, preserving its integrity and preventing the further damage.

Could be seen as Dr Obagi's attempt to sell his new range of products. However there are many nuggets of good information and protocols. Nice clear pictures to illustrate his points. Over all 4/5 stars

I have reviewed parts of the book and in it Dr. Obagi, my dad, shows his continued leadership and preemenence in dermatology. With his second textbook which took about 3 years to write, Dr. Obagi proves that he not only broke ground when he developed products that treat all skin types, but that he continues to lead the way in dermatology - by literally writing, and updating the book on the subject.

Dr. Obagi is truly a master of peels and pigmentation. I have admired him for many years. This book is a must read for all skin care professionals, aestheticians and physicians. He has put together the definitive manual for treating the skin based on decades of personal experience and his novel philosophy that has evolved over time. The before and after photographs of real patients are compelling and demonstrate that his approach offers unique benefits, for even the most difficult and challenging patients.

Das Buch, welches 193 € kostete, kam mit Eselsohren an jedem Eck. Ich erwarte bei einem teureren Artikel, dass dieser in einwandfreiem Zustand ankommt.

Dieses Buch eröffnet neue Möglichkeiten der Wiederherstellung der Hautgesundheit. Konkrete Therapieansätze und Fallbeispiele zeigen die Notwendigkeit des Umdenkens in der ästhetischen Dermatologie. Ich kenne kein Buch aus der ästhetischen Dermatologie, welches mit so einer hohen praktischen Treffsicherheit die Empfehlungen für das Handeln des Arztes beschreibt.
