Optimum Multi-X Lycra Shorts

I love the white pants, though I brought the medium size, however I like the shorts to be a half way up from my on the thighs. therefore next time, I will by the smaller size. Colin.

I've tried a number of compression shorts but these are now my 'go to' shorts. Excellent quality and I'm more than happy to re-order replacements as mine wear out. That is not to say they aren't hard-wearing - I use them an awful lot on an indoor rowing machine which does give them a good workout.Just about the right amount of comporession and high waistband.

Nothing to dislike... really good fit.

Thought compression shorts were supposed to be tight fitting. These are reasonably so but dont think they are great boon for improving figure. Would not go jogging in them as well.

I've just worn this for the first time and am very pleased with it, given the price. Some other reviewers have commented that the drawstring is too short - but on the pair I received it's plenty long enough. Others have commented that sizing runs a bit small, and that's true - I'm 82cm waist and although the waist on the medium fits about right, it is a little tight on the thighs and the shorts made a creaking sound the first time I did squats! Maybe I've got fat legs. So if I order again I might get large, though they're still meant to be tight. Other reviewers have commented that the seams are not flat (as they are on more expensive shorts). That's true, though I didn't find them irritating.So, provided they last, they're excellent value and I'll probably buy another. But sure, flat seams would be nice. If they don't last, I'll update my review.Update: Still seem to be holding together, so review remains five stars. Note though that as shorts go they're relatively long and come to nearly my knees (as in the picture). Personally I'd prefer mid-thigh. But still, decent shorts at a decent price.

Good fit but not a lot of room for your bits and pieces.

My son needed these for his Rugby match today. I've bought other Optimum products for him but this wasn't my first choice as I ended up look at other brands like UA/Nike initially. I ordered a pair but they would have arrived too late, so I cancelled the order. This was clearly fate because I hadn't spotted these at first and I was looking for something that would get here yesterday. Not only were they a fraction of the priced they arrived on time and they were a perfect fit for him. They looked good and they must have been lucky as his team won 45-0!! Another great Optimum product.

Nothing to dislike. Reasonable value but fit a little bit on the small side.
