Can I use 605PRO on plastic, drywall or rubber?** A: No. The TDS specifically says do not use on PVC, drywall, limestone, plastic, veneer, terrazzo tile or rubber. Always test a small inconspicuous area before beginning the complete project. **Q: 2. How thick should I apply 605PRO?** A: Apply a thick layer by pouring, brushing, squeegee or commercial airless sprayer. Applying it too thin can cause the remover to dry before coating removal is complete. **Q: 3. How much area will one gallon cover?** A: Average horizontal coverage is 125 sq. ft. per gallon, with a maximum of 200 sq. ft. per gallon. Average vertical coverage is 75 sq. ft. per gallon. Coverage varies based on the coating, number of layers and application method. **Q: 4. What should I do with tough coatings or many layers?** A: For tough coatings or numerous layers, the TDS recommends a notched 1/2-inch squeegee or 1/4-inch gauge rake. Using the thicker application will greatly reduce square-foot coverage. **Q: 5. Can I use 605PRO outdoors?** A: Yes. When working outdoors, cover the treated area with 2 mil or thicker plastic to help keep 605PRO wet and working. Protect plants and vegetation with a plastic drop cloth. ## Frequently Bought Together - Blue Bear 605 Pro Coating Remover - One Gallon (128 oz) - Premium Ergonomic Carbide Scraper,2-1/2",Scraper Tool for Removing Varnish, Paint, Glue, Resin, Dry Glaze, Stains, Putty, Scratch - ALLWAY CS6 Soft-Grip Contour Scraper Set with 6 Blades and Blade File --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nl/products/119451250-605pro-multi-surface-paint-stripper-and-coatings-remover-1-gal](https://www.desertcart.nl/products/119451250-605pro-multi-surface-paint-stripper-and-coatings-remover-1-gal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Netherlands* *Store origin: NL* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
