Surviving ISO 9001:2015

Color me shocked.
This is one of the funniest conversational-type books I've ever read -- and it's about 9001.This guy needs to write more books about some other stuff. I will read all of them.

Great resource that is also often entertaining, believe it or not
There are definitely a lot of people who this book is not for. I've worked with quite a few more uptight quality professionals who would not be amused in the slightest. It's irreverent, and the author clearly has an axe to grind with certain people and groups (and apparently Riesling wine as well). Not something you're going to want to pull out in front of an auditor as a reference document, but all-in-all there's some really good advice in here for implementing ISO 9001, despite being written by someone who absolutely hates ISO 9001.

Funny stuff
Did I like reading it... no! at no fault of the writer...ISO is boring to read and I had to read it for my job. At least the writer makes some jokes and is pretty funny at times to keep me awake lol

The Best ISO 9001:2015 implementation book I've read... and I've read many
If you are a business owner or quality manager tasked with developing a bureaucracy-free quality system, this is the book you need.I’ve implemented and achieved ISO 9001 certification for a small number of quality systems over the years as an employee of manufacturing companies… also, I’ve purchased many books. This is the ONLY ISO 9001 book (or training for that matter) I’ve seen that isn’t mostly a regurgitation of the ISO standard.Even though I have an implementation process remarkably similar to the one described in this book, my eyes are now open to the background behind any vague requirements giving me new, practical ways to deal with them in a way that adds value to the business versus checking a box for the auditors. This book is as entertaining as it is practical and informative.Excuse me while I go see how many of my “old” books I can fit into the fireplace while you buy this book.

ISO in plain English with humor
I have been the ISO management rep for my previous company for several years, taking us through multiple audits and the change over to the 2015 standard. Now I am with a new company and we are just starting up working on our initial registration. It was a lot easier working off an existing system with everything already written and came across this book. I am only about halfway through it but the first part gives you great background on how the standard came to be and the different parts of it. I thought I had a pretty good understanding of the standard but the second part really translates it in a way that made even more sense. I definitely appreciate the approach and this book gives a lot of practical ways to implement things without going so far down the rabbit hole you do things that are unnecessary and don’t really benefit the business only for the sake of making some auditor happy.
