Amazing book
Great book. My son, 7 years old, loved this book. I believe that this is a great example of level 2 reading. He could read all the words.

Cute Book
Got this for my 2 year old nephew. It has several different stories in it. Th pictures are bright and colorful which is always appealing to little ones! So many people don't take their children to church, so this little book is a great way to familiarize a little one to the Lord. I can testify that books like this are how I learned about Jesus when I was little.

Shows Jesus' Joy and Kindness Throughout the Pages
"Miracles of Jesus" is a part of the "I Can Read" children's series by Zonderkidz. It is based on reading level 2, which are high interest stories for developing readers. Jairus' Daughter and the Feeding the Five Thousand miracle stories are told in this book through words and colorful illustrations. The illustrations are on most of the pages and show a lot of happiness of people receiving the miracles through Jesus. It gives children a look into these miracles that happened thousands of years ago, and may even help some imagine what it really was like to receive the miracles from Jesus.Jesus looked so joyful in the pictures of this book! His face radiated with God's glory, in my opinion. I think both the words and pictures do explain Jesus' kindness through the pages of this book also. Other then seeing Mark 6:2 at the beginning of the book (which explains about Jesus performing miracles), I didn't notice any Bible verses that supported the stories but I think that teachers and parents could provide those for children and ask them to read them before or after they read this book, or they might want to read those Bible verses aloud to the children. I liked the "Did You Know" section in the back of the book, which lists some other well-known miracles that Jesus performed that children might have learned about also.Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
