Aidelife Expert Surface Grinding Dust Shroud for Angle Grinder, Universal 5 inch AD1801125

Bought this to go with a concrete grinding cup wheel to grind down and smooth out a section of my garage floor. This shroud was excellent with the vacuum adaptor at keeping the dust to a minimum and made the job easy with hardly any extra cleaning up to be done. Easy to fit and remove from your angle grinder, more than happy with this piece of kit which will definitely come in handy again in the future.

Very impressed with this overall. Used to grind down large-ish hi spot areas on a concrete garage floor in order to reduce the amount of screeding depth required. This shroud massively cut down the amount of dust coming off the diamond cup grinding wheel I was using. It comes with a number of different collet type adapters but it is still far from a universal fit product. I own three grinders and this shroud only fit well on one of them, my budget ebrauer one as it turned out. It did almost fit on my better quality black and decker grinder, but the diamond wheel I was using sat too deep in the shroud to make contact with the concrete. It would not fit at all on my Dewalt grinder. Fitted well on the ebrauer though and worked great. The included vac adapter fitted in the shroud very well and also in my nilkfisk shop vac hose no problem. It is a nice rubber type adapter, not plastic. Impressed overall.

Great dust shroud what a difference once it was on used on a Makita 18 volt battery grinder and attached to a hoover worked really well

I have waited to review this shroud as I wanted to give it a chance over several jobs and I’m pleased to say it does what it says on the tin.This unit efficiently collects dust from the sanding face and is not prone to blocking or detachment.it has been used on several projects including brick cleaning and concrete floor grinding.Unlike other models it uses a levered ring grip which holds it to the body of the Grinder securely, as this is the weakest point on other models. I would highly recommend this product for general use.

Excellent product. Fitted my Bosch battery grinder perfectly, a few small modifications with the Dremel and it fitted onto a cheap Titan 240v grinder also. Levelled a 3x4m floor and most of the dust was captured by the vac.

Purchased for husband it does the job

Good bit of kit. Reduces the amount of dust created very well.
