After I figured out how to open the package (not the brightest) and turned the recliner on its sideit took less than ten minutes to replace.An exact fit...Well to be honest...when I received the package from the mailbox, I ran into the house in my excitement and fell over the cat who took off and knocked over the water bowl which I proceeded to slip into....so by the time all of this was cleaned up, it probably took about 2 minutes to actually make the replacement.And that package? It really only took a pair of shears and 5 or 6 seconds from the time they were drawn from the holster till the time they were reinstalled into the holster.Good job folks.

An almost exact replacement for my Brandon Latitudes leather recliner sofa. The only difference is the wire clip on the original that kept the cable from possibly slipping off won't fit on the new handle. There is enough spring tension on the release cable itself that I doubt that the cable could come off anyway. If it ever does, all I need to do is cut a couple of small slits on the piece the cable attaches to in order to use the clip. If any of the other handles on my sofa or love seat break, I will order one of these again.

I would recommend this product to anyone that breaks a handle. It fit perfectly, just like the original. The only odd thing is that the handle doesn't release the recliner as easily as before and I have to shift my body weight a little to get it to release. I think this may be due to stretching or some type of minor damage to the cable itself. I could not find an adjustment on my recliner to resolve this issue, so I just use it as is. It may be worth replacing the cable with the handle, but for me, it wasn't worth the money.

Replacement seems to be made a bit better than the original; however, plastic design of these type of handles made me buy a spare, just in case. My original part had the 3mm hole, the replacement has a 6mm hole. Still works like a charm.Seller had EXTREMELY fast shipping. When my recliner-handle broke I needed a new one. So I thought I would go back to the store where I bought the chair. They gave me such a run around wasn't happy. So I went on the internet typed my part number in, Amazon came up. Read the reviews some where good and some where bad but I needed one. So I would give Amazon a try I liked the sight price was good. It came on time like Amazon said and part fit so that's why I gave Amazon 5 stars. I would order from Amazon in the future.

This is an exact replacement for our sectional. The little black tab holding the cable broke. The place we bought our sectional probably would have fixed it under warranty. But I'm sure there would have been a discussion of coverage and normal use, and having to let some guy into the house to fix it, etc etc etc. For $15~$20, it showed up on my doorstep. Took me 15 minutes to install including finding my screwdriver. Couldn't be happier with it.

If you have these handles on your furniture, chances are they have broken and you are now looking at this item. Believe it, or not, this actually holds up better than the originals and is a sturdier plastic. I bought two, just in case, but this has outlasted the original by three times the break length and is still going. Great deal for the money
