I had a total ankle replacement and used this Foam Roller Half Round for home physical therapy. It provided me the ability to exercise the ankle joint with movement from the left and right so as to stretch the tendons and strengthen the ankle ligaments and muscle tissue.

Small and lightweight, but firm. I use this for heel rises (also gives a good stretch to the calf) and balance training. It's simple, but effective.

I have used this in physical therapy, it is very helpful.
