Very Satisfied Customer
I really like this ankle brace; gives decent support and helps a lot for an old injury that is catching up to me with age. Very comfortable too; I typically wear it all day. I wear a size 12D and the Large fits nicely. Gives decent support and works well with all of my shoes (Nunn Bush oxfords, New Balance athletic shoes, Wolverine boots). Relatively quick and easy to put on and take off too once you get the hang of it. I also called Swede-o for information and was very impressed with their customer service. Highly recommended and I'm looking forward to using it for golf this summer. Pretty confident that it will be a big improvement over taping my ankles as I've been doing for several years now.

Great brace, great price!
The ankle brace the doctor recommended for my injured ankle HURT when I tried it on in the physician's office, and my copay for it was over $80. I said thanks but no thanks and went home and researched ankle braces on Amazon. This ankle brace got great reviews, plus it was $20. I was concerned the ties would make this brace difficult and annoying to take on or off (since most others used velcro), but I decided to give it a try. I have worn the brace every day for a month, and it is comfortable and supportive and makes my ankle feel much better! My ankle is healing and I will soon not have to wear the brace, but until then, I am so happy I found this on Amazon.

I have Ehlers-Danlos-Sydnrome and needed a good support for my ankle so I would not always ...
This is my first review of a product. So I hope I can be helpful. I have Ehlers-Danlos-Sydnrome and needed a good support for my ankle so I would not always have to walk like I have OCS (aka waling around small rocks and watch my steps). This brace provides the support I need and the benefit of pressure (I can adjust the laces a needed) I need on the upper part of my leg. I had no issues fitting it in my winter boots and I also fit it in dress shoes and sneakers. So, this is a huge benefit over my old school support I had. Since my insurance refused to pay for it, I am thankful it is affordable here. The only suggestion I have is to make the laces longer (they always slip out when you take it off) and/or to offer a way to apply more pressure on the leg maybe a velcro option?! But otherwise, I love it.

They work!
I love these ankle braces and worn them for years with no twists or sprains. They're light weight and pretty easy to get on and off. The laces are especially long so you can loosen them up without having to rethread them through the eyelets. One word of caution: you can tighten the entire length of the laces just by pulling on the ends of the laces, but if you do, one of the leather eyelets will eventually tear. If you first tighten the bottom half of the laces and then tighten the top, the braces will last for years.

Won't prevent ankle sprains
This brace does help with sinus tarsi pain. It fits reasonably well in dress shoes. Don't expect this brace to prevent a sprain though. The side supports are too flexible to prevent an ankle from rolling, as I sadly found out. If you have a tendency toward sprains, I would skip this brace.

Super disappointed with my favorite brand Dont bother
I have worn ankle braces since 1984 after a severe injury I have had numerous reconstructive surgery . Ialso have always favored Swede-O braces for the high quality excellent support durability and ease of putting them on. This brace I need to say is not up to the usual quality it is flimsy , unsupportive and not worth the investment. I rarely post feedback but felt I needed to as I am used to needing good ankle braces.

Recommended by my doctor and works really well.
Exactly what I needed. Provides good support. Our house is on a hill and I can walk the yard with this support. Putting on and off requires loosening of the laces.

Tried several supports and this one worked best for me
works, softly, keeps me out of surgery. Have been using this one for 4 years. Tried several supports and this one worked best for me. Have the best proprioception and least pain. Best fit in shoes. I have to keep the arch supports and levels in my shoes and then add this support. Always use a hiking pole in rough areas but I can walk in flat areas without the pole.

Seams caused me as much pain as my injury.
I liked the support, but the seams on the top of the foot and in the back of the ankle are thick and cut into my skin. Lacing the boot was difficult as well. To get it snug enough meant cutting circulation to my toes. I would have modified it around the ankle to provide extra support without cutting circulation to my toes, but the seams were just too painful to deal with. I had to return it and look for a different brace.
