Love the muslin fabric with the natural candlewick thread! Not a lot of stitch variety but gorgeous texture when finished. Very happy with the results! Although some of the instructions were off (separate candlewick thread then don't separate thread - note: don't!); read 4 ply colonial knots but really meant to be 2 ply, I think. The instruction template was a little blurry in places, but cover photo provided was very helpful. And for the price... I'm happy!

This was my second kit in the same pattern. My first kit was great and I learned how to candlewick. I love shells and it made a beautiful pillow cover. I bought this kit to make another pillow for a gift. Unfortunately, the pattern was printed way off-center. Worse, the pattern lines were so faded and in some cases non-existent in places, I had to use my finished kit as a guide. This kit, as my first did not supply enough candlewicking yarn. After a while, it became a little boring to do, but all in all, it still made a nice looking pillow, and the price was very low.
