I don't write a ton of reviews. But I had to write about these towels. I had always used terry kitchen towels, which used to be very easy to find. I realized that after lots of use and bleaching, my 10+ year old kitchen towels were looking sad. I went to replace them and to my surprise, good, basic, not too heavy, not too light terry towels were nowhere to be found (I am now the proud owner of some way too heavy towels). I saw these on Amazon and figured I would give them a try. They are fantastic! Very absorbent, do not leave any lint behind, the perfect weight. Some reviewers have mentioned the small size, but I find it a very practical size for my purposes. This might sound strange, but I find them a joy to use, particularly for drying glassware. The price is very fair, so I have ordered more to ensure that I have a good stash. Good, practical, solid kitchen basic. Am unusually happy with this purchase.

Took a chance and ordered these towels. I liked that the seller mentioned shrinkage and gave instructions on how to care for these cloths, nice to know that before buying.I got the smaller size and when they arrived I thought they would be too small; however, now I think they are the perfect size for drying dishes. I used to have thicker, bigger, tea towels, but I found that they got excessively wet, took a long time to dry, and the excess cloth bunched up and made handling dishes more awkward.I followed the instructions and washed the cloths first, then dried them on low in the dryer. They did shrink, but that was expected.What prompted me to buy these was the fact that I had many thicker, coloured tea-towels that had become tea-stained and what not over the years, they just looked grubby and I couldn't bleach them - these I can bleach so they will always look clean.Definitely recommend if you want to try a thinner, faster drying, more absorbent towel. They work very well on glass too, though this company offer specific towels for glass and I might try them because the water in our area is so hard it leaves rings and spots on clean glasses.Also, the price is just unbeatable, (I got thirteen towels for the price of two thicker coloured ones), I can discard any that I burn on the grill etc, and still have enough to get by.

EDIT: three years now and the towels have held up very well, no fraying...and now with the COVID virus even more greatly appreciated having the dozen instead of having to hunt for paper towels. Maybe someday I'll calculate the savings over three years.A welcome throwback to the all cotton utility dish towels I grew up with.Retired and single I was feed up with shopping and paying for paper towels. Made no sense. Then I spotted these on Amazon. At a dollar a piece they are cheaper than paper towels and re-usable with far more utility than paper ones. Ever try to cover rising dough or hot biscuits with paper towls?Just follow the provided washing instructions included with the package and repeated in the Liliane email followup on delivery. Again wash before using to remove the sizing (?) to realize full absortive qualities of 100% cotton. First wash was in cold water followed by air drying. Some shrinkage as was to be expected but no perceptible puckering of edges and corners.They have some decorative work on them making them pleasant to look at but for me, utility matters far more.Back to drying my dishes and polishing glass and silverware the old fashion way makes me wonder why I keep the dishwasher. Not using it saves $.A great bargain all around.

I bought these to replace some very old but still very functional kitchen towels I really hated to part with. These should fill that niche nicely. They are NOT for the person looking for a fluffy terry cloth decorative addition to their kitchen (which a professional wouldn't be caught dead with). These are truly professional grade utility towels that are meant for work. For wiping up spills, holding hot pots and pans, keeping your hands and your counter clean and dry and all the other chores a chef keeps them near at hand for. Those are my "pro" comments. On the "con" side, I wish they made these about 3" wider and longer, as they shrink considerably after your initial first laundering. The first washing will also leave them looking frayed and tattered. You'll need to snip off all the loose threads that get revealed. But you should only have to do that once. Subsequent washings did not require that. That's the price you pay for the bargain pricing they are offering. To me, it was worth it. One other thing that struck me as odd was that about half the lot were hemmed on 3 sides only. I'm not sure how this is going to impact long term use. So, my initial response is that they are a good deal for the price if you're looking for a utility kitchen towel. I've been using towels like this for as long as I can remember, and they will pay for themselves in a very short time, and a ton of money over their lifetime if you use these instead of paper towels whenever practical. Plus they are lint free, and will leave your glasses, china and silverware sparkling. A win-win-win for the environment, your table and your wallet.

Very happy to be able to get this set. Bought a set of green couple year ago and still using them. Need a different color and bought a different brand. What a mistake. This set has way better quality. Hope this set will last a long time as well. Unfortunately seems this brand is no longer available on Amazon now.

They are kitchen towels, but they are so soft, and you can bleach them, and I still have many unused ones after many years.

I've only used this for the past couple months, so I can't speak to quality in the long run. However, after the first wash, these held up to their shape and size very well (vs. some generic ones that I've purchased through Ikea or Kitchen Stuff Plus). Great value for the price and with this many on hand, I can switch out the towels more often before I need to do a laundry load.

Nice weight- not too heavy, but absorbs water. Good fabric for shining glasses. Bleaches nicely.
