Will it work upsidown?

I have used hyd. jacks on their sides. Up side down could be a problem because the pump picks its oil up from the bottom of the jack and after some movement it will probably suck air and stop moving. so I would say no.

What are the air requirements for this?

90psi-120psi. I run mine at a 110psi setting on my compressor, and it's been doing great for me.

is there a 12 volt driven hydraulic jack for a van?
