OSC Automotive Products, Inc Cooling Products 1553 New Radiator

I was a little hesitant to use a radiator from the internet after reading some reviews about not fitting,needing drilling, leaking and so on. I bought this for a 1999 dodge 5.9 Comings diesel. When I took itout of the box and set it beside the old OEM radiator for comparison it was an exact mach and the buildquality was just as good as the OEM one. It dropped in and everything hooked up in minutes even thestuds on top of the radiator that holds the battery cable was spot on.As far as it keeping the engine cool here is how I tested it........ I live in the Arizona desert South Westwhere it can reach in the high 120's. After putting a large load on the truck and running the ACI drove up hills in the desert and the engine never over heated !!.I would not hesitate for one second to order this brand again. Plus it was $100 bucks cheaper thanany auto parts store around. Hope this helps.

Packing was very good with ~3" of foam at each corner.New bushings are included and fit nice and snug.The only issue was the drain valve (petcock) has wings on it that interfere with the turbo intercooler outlet, which is an easy fix with snips. The drain valve has pipe threads instead of the quick opening original, but it works.FYI, it does not come with a radiator cap.

Seems good so far; have only installed it so far (haven't driven with it yet). Install went easy. Hardest part was removing the windshield washer fluid tank from fan shroud to get it out of the way (not the fault of this product). Came with new rubber feet and new rubber mounts. Does not include a new cap, nor does it include new clips for holding the fan shroud in place.Is substantially thinner than original radiator on 1996 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9L Cummings Diesel (guessing, I would estimate it at 3/8" thinner, but haven't measured it yet). I imagine this is because the original is a 3 core and this is a 2 core. The factory replacement sold by Dodge is also a 2 core (factory original part is Mopar 52006479 whereas factory replacement part is 52030191AD).Hopefully it cools just as well as the original, especially since I load the truck heavy and tow heavy. Time will tell. I'll update after I've driven and towed with it.

This radiator is Imported, is High quality and fit my truck Exactly as the original one did inj every detail and was an easy swap. The original was a brass-copper unit with plastic tanks that had gotten rotted in the fin area from many years of use. This radiator is a 2 row aluminum core unit with plastic tanks and cools the engine better than the original. It is so efficient that the engine cannot hold a constant temperature when driving in cold weather. The thermostat allows the engine to come up to a temperature of 180 degrees and then opens with the engine temp falling to just around 155-160 degrees and then the process repeats itself. In warmer weather, that operation process should not be as noticeable as I have a Lot of experience with cooling systems and have observed this before. :)

Purchased in 2016. Failed in 2022 with about 100k miles on this radiator. Radiator started leaking at the tank to core on the inlet side... just like every radiator I've used. 1998 truck just about to cross 300k miles. Truck lives a pampered life, and is well maintained. Every radiator fails at about the 100k mark, OEM or aftermarket. My advice, buy a reasonably priced unit that doesn't have fitment complaints. They all last the same. I paid $168 back in 2016... I see they are asking $273 in 2022. Don't spend $273.

Product was shipped fast. Packaging was in good shape. Radiator fit perfect, slid right into place. Comes with the new rubber feet for the bottom. Does not come with a cap. Great value. Installed in a 1995 Ram 3500 4x4 with inter cooler and auto trans.

Fit well and went in quite easy

When I received the radiator it was in 2 boxes packaged very well. When I opened it the inside box had a gash in it. The radiator has a small dent in it. I didn't have the time to return it. So far no leaks. It's working fine. I just wished they would have noticed the hash where it had been dropped before they shipped it.
