NOT as advertised
I wanted a PAIR of these gloves for picking up roasting pans and other large pans when cooking large cuts of meat. The product description clearly states “pack of 2“, and there’s a sticker on the box that says “pack of 2“, but there was only one glove in the box I received. Then I flipped the box over and on the other side there is another statement printed on the box that says “this package contains one Ove Glove fits left or right hand“. Apparently they’re supposed to send you two boxes.

How to spot a fake 'OVE Glove'
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Hi, everyone, I posted a video review explaining more in detail how to spot a fake 'OVE' Glove. I purchased 2 'OVE' gloves on Amazon from seller "AFT advancement" and they turned out to be fake. I had saw a post in the reviews from someone saying theirs was fake too and explained the differences. So when I got mine in the mail I knew what to look for. No tag & it is thinner. I also went to oveglove.com and contacted them to see if they could tell me how to spot a fake. They verified what I knew already, no tag, thinner and they said the fakes might also have a black band around the opening, if so that's a fraudulent 'ove' glove. I suspect there are other sellers too with fake ones so hope this help to spot a fake.At this time I have not used them yet so I don't have a review on how it is but with all the positive reviews I expect it to be good. THESE ARE FAKE OVE GLOVES
Received FAKE OveGloves. Do not Buy. Called the manufacturer. No tag on inside of glove, in plastic bag inside box and no registration card or washing instructions in the box. She said they are now manufactured in China and the one sure way to get the real OveGloves is from Walmart or Target.

Looks like I received a pair of fakes! Amazon, you hear this?
I ordered this Ove' Glove Hot Surface Handler Jan 20, 2013 to use with baking bread with a Le Cloche Baker in a Hamilton Beach Counter Top oven. It's rated for 540F and worked very well initially as I was only baking around 325F to 350F . With a recent recipe change , I starting baking at 375F, about as high as my counter-top oven will reach. Unfortunately, the last two times I used it, I felt the heat in my hand while handling the baker after the oven is preheated to 375F. The second time this happened, the heat got quite uncomfortable, such that I'll have to stop using it. Unfortunately, the return date has passed and I would have to pay return shipping just to get a pro-rated refund based on their 'return policy'. The recipe calls for preheating to 450F and baking at 425F, which I can only do in our full-size oven. Looks like I'll never be able to use it for baking with the kitchen oven! $16.25 for less than 4 months really sucks. I use it only for baking so it doesn't get wet, but I can see the fiber around the finger grips has started to ball up like an old sweater. The part the fingers that touches the baker has developed brown spots, like it was scorched. Scorching at 375F, when it's rated for 540F!Just watched M Johnson's video in his March, 2013 review and notices that the pair I received does NOT have any tags sewn to the inside of the glove, as he noticed in the real product. As I've thrown away the boxes, I can't tell what it said. According to my Amazon's account record, mine was sold by Pandora's Secret. I'll look into contacting the seller and see if they can do something about it. I know I checked the gloves and the packaging against what the Amazon product picture showed when I received the product, and I didn't see any problem. It certainly looks like I received fakes. I hope Amazon does something about warning their customers if their merchants are shipping fake product to their customers. M Johnson's posted his excellent video a month and a half after I received mine so it didn't help me. The overall excellent customer reviews gave me confidence in the product. If Amazon can't fix this problem, I'll stay with Bed Bath and Beyond from now on since I can speak to real people and their return policy is excellent.

Fakes
These are bootleg-knock-offs! First, it didn’t come in original box as seen in picture on Amazon; it came in a plastic bag as you can see in photo. Second, I’ve compared it with the original, which I had for a long time and wanted to replace. And these are definitely fakes.

Serious burn protection
I had two older ones. I lost one(??????) Rather than ordering 1 (which wouldn't match the old one) I bought this two-pack. I do not regret that at all. They have improved these and I am so happy. My silicone hot pads were not sufficient... I could feel the heat quickly coming through them. These give you better dexterity, which will keep you safer, and protect from heat better. These are perfect for using in most home kitchen situations. Highly recommend.

Solid pair of baking gloves, though don't expect to hold hot things indefinitely with them.
If you're looking for gloves that allow you to hold something hot for more than 30 seconds, look elsewhere. I use these for simple tasks like removing hot pots from the stove, and moving trays in and out of the oven. If you hold something hot long enough, you can begin to feel the heat a little. Has gotten a bit dirty over about a months use, but according to the product info, it's machine washable, so will try that out sometime.

good value and do the job
bought these for my daughter-in-law as she is keen cook and I have these and knew they were good. These are excellent value compared to some and only lose one star because the fit is a little large for my hands so I don't feel they are quite as secure as my old pair. Like the fact that the heat grips are both sides so gloves interchangeable. Heat resistance great - as long as they are kept dry

This is not an authentic product. It is from China.
These gloves are counterfeit. They do not fit. Hard to put on. Seller is from China and pretends to not understand my emails telling him the do not fit. Please stay away!

Two gloves at a great price
These are not made in the USA. Box states that they are made in South Korea, hence only 4 stars. That said, the gloves work as intended. They're easy to put on and take off. They provide for much more dexterity than my old silicon mitts which were very clumsy. When removing a cast iron pot from a 450 F oven, I only felt a bit of heat. Since this is a two pack it's great value.

Satisfaction
I have used this product for many years and often puchase it for gifts. I have always been satisfied with this product but it was time to buy a new one. I ordered it and again I was delighted with this product. My order arrived in time it was stated to arrive. Very happy with this seller and would for sure order from him again.

Very NIce!
I love the Ove Glove....I have used them for many years and are washable. You really can't feel the heat through them . My only complaint is I wish they were sold in pairs. A bit pricey having to order 2 of them when most people want a pair.
