Floxite Tabletop Mount LED Lighted Travel and Home 10x Magnifying Mirror

I purchased this product years ago and have absolutely loved it ever since. It’s been a reliable travel companion on all my trips. On a recent getaway with friends, everyone was asking about it! I wish I had written a review sooner. I highly recommend it—compact for travel, great lighting, and excellent magnification. I'm planning to buy a couple as gifts for my friends.

this mirror does it all for us, it is something we can take on our travels so my wife can put her make-up on wherever we are in the world in the comfort of a chair instead of standing over a sink or wherever. The Seller, Hawthorne, shipped quickly, efficiently-nothing broken- and I am very pleased with the value I received for the money I spent! I am thinking of buying more for gifts to give away!

Bought this because I was going to be living in a hotel room for 10 days. It worked fine, lights were bright enough for both makeup and eyebrow maintenance. Loved the 10x magnification. The angle isn't adjustable but you can use a towel to fix that, just fold it and stuff it under the bottom until it's the angle you want. Works like a charm. I should never have read the review that said it is shaped like a toilet seat cover, it's all I could think of every time I looked at it. But it worked great, definitely recommend this light. Update: Dec 16, 2016 .. just back from another 5 day trip .. the mirror is still working great one year later. I have probably used it half a dozen times now for a week or so at a time. Considering you only use this for a few minutes a day when traveling it SHOULD last a long time. Update: Dec 14, 2017 .. back from another 5 day trip .. still working, still same set of batteries. I really do love this thing, my home mirror puts out a lot of heat, this really doesn't put out any. I made a simple quilted cover for this, I keep it in the original bubble wrap cover and just slip it all into the quilted cover for travel. Probably doesn't need it, but the extra padding makes me feel better. When I get home it all goes back into the original box in the cupboard. Update: Mar 31, 2020 ... still going strong. Finally had to replace the batteries. The quilted cover is wearing out but not the mirror! I travel a LOT for work and this is a lifesaver for me.

I was happy with the speed of delivery and packaging. The mirror itself is pretty well made; I like the design that lets the cover fold back into a stand and the lighting is excellent. But it is hard to get open, as the cover on the slim profile doesn't give you anything to grab onto to pry up the lid. The big downside, and the reason I only gave it 3 stars, is that the magnification is so poorly done that I have to have my face right up against it, and I mean no more than an inch or two away, in order for any thing to be in focus. Any farther away than that and the image just distorts into an abstract painting. It's hard to put on makeup when you can only see one tiny area of your face at a time. But I can make do with it well enough so, until I find something better, it will have to do.

I just lost my first one in Kuala Lumpur (had it since 2007) and immediately came home and replaced it after trying another model that was way too heavy. I never leave home without this (put the batteries in a separate bag wrapped separately in plastic wrap). It lets me get ready in the darkest hotel room, the magnification is strong and the mirror quality is wonderful. Doesn't weigh much, either. As for the lighting…it was enough to let me put on basic makeup at 4a.m. in an African tent and in one tent it was my only source of light other than a flashlight. One thing: it folds back a little too far for me and it's too low, so I always have to prop it up on my makeup case or a phone book or something. To solve the tilt, I wrapped some duct tape around the cardboard core of a roll of tape (after using the tape) and I put it in the back. The 2" circle is just enough to prop the mirror and make it straighter. The duct tape keeps it from slipping and the thing fits in a baggie along with the mirror and the batteries. Pop it all in my suitcase and I'm off!

For traveling days and weeks at a time, this is great. Portable, folds up, and protects the mirror. Lightweight. The lighting could be better but its already better than most hotels. I'm a Marriott traveler and love this mirror. Again, the brightness could be better but its already better than most Marriott mirror/sink areas. I would not take this on a weekend trip, but if you are on the road for weeks like me, its wonderful! I also have a very similar one in 15x and love it even more. I bought it after getting this one because my eyes are aging and knew I needed brighter or bigger magnifying. The 15x version is great for eyebrows.

This is the perfect travel mirror. I recently used it on a long trip in various locations. The Pros: Regardless of the location, I had consistent lighting with the small LED lights circling the mirror. The mirror is the perfect size to see an entire adult face when applying makeup. In addition, the stand efficiently doubles as a cover to protect the mirror. A covered mirror is something I found lacking in other travel mirrors. Although the mirror angle does not change, I placed the mirror on top of the container box to see better as I am a tall person. Keep the container box to protect the mirror and use it as a base to raise the height of the mirror. The Cons: The electrical adaptor has to be order separately and costs an additional $10. It should be included with the mirror. It folds flat and takes up very little space in your luggage.

This is the second Floxite magnifying mirror I’ve purchased. The new one broke at the hinge — the mirror itself is perfect, but unfortunately, I can’t use it with the stand. I emailed the company and was told they have no inventory available. Interestingly, there appears to be plenty of inventory available on Amazon and other online retailers. I’m very disappointed with the quality.
