I like to buy my palmatoylthanolamide this way. It's cheaper to buy in bulk and make your own capsules, and this way you can regulate how much you use as well. This stuff has been very helpful for fighting my chronic inflammation. I highly recommend it. Plus, this is a good company. My package came even sooner than I expected. Don't expect your packet to be very large though. It's smaller than it looks.

If you are reading these reviews, you are probably in pain of some kind. I urge you to try this product. It is already helping with my IC (a bladder condition) during the day and I have been able to reduce my Celebrex medication for arthritic/muscle pain. Need to cut back on NSAIDs b/c of kidney disease. I take it with luteolin from Swanson to add extra health benefits. I'm 76 and need all the help I can get! I've only started this (5 days) and it is helping already. I will be re-ordering and spreading the word. Look up Palmitoylethanolamide online or YouTube for more information.

I just received my product. The print on the package is so small that you cannot read it easily. In addition, there are so many typo's on the product label that my confidence in the product is shaken. If you can't spell correctly, what makes me think that the chemical formulation is correct. For these reasons, I am reluctant to use this product and I am giving it a poor rating. As for arrival, the product came in a very timely manner.

I bought this for my cat on my Vet's direction. He has skin allergies of an unknown source. Testing and food trials over a year have uncovered nothing. It is thought that PEA can help de-sensitize the skin (itching) in such conditions. I have tried numerous other things (fish oil, several antihistamines, probiotics, etc), none of which have helped until Apoquel (which is a miracle and allowed me to take him out of the cone he had been in for almost a year to prevent serious injuries due to severe face scratching; now 4 months of cone-free). But Apoquel is very expensive, not approved for cats, and long-term use danger is completely unknown. We hoped that adding PEA might help reduce the needed Apoquel dose (which is 4 times that of a dog- twice the frequency and twice the mg per pound; he is on 10.7mg/q12).The other reviewers are correct. PEA is hydrophobic. It will *NOT* mix in anything water-based. Since my cat is on a restricted diet, the only thing I could do was to create a thick water/pumpkin fiber mix, then try to "suspend" the PEA in it. Suck it up a 50ml syringe and squirt it in his mouth. This sorta works, most of the PEA wants to stick to the spoon or the mixing dish, but with enough effort, it will form tiny "globs" in the thick pumpkin mix. So I estimate only about 50 to 75% of the PEA actually gets into the cat. It also fouls the syringe (so I have to use more of them) and he (the cat) doesn't seem to like the "mouth feel" of the PEA at all.I started with 100mg then moved to 150mg then 200mg, every 24 hours. Continued for 90 days. Unfortunately, it had no positive effects at all. I could not lower the dosage of the Apoquel without his symptoms returning (excessive grooming, fur pulling/eating, and scratching). So it was not effective for his condition and I discontinued use.As for the product, it is a great value, compared to other products. It is packaged well, the labeling is fine, the consistency is good and contains no visible contaminates. It was also shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition. It is hard to rate a product like this- it is a 5 star for all those things I just listed, and a 1 star for effectiveness FOR THIS APPLICATION. I have no idea how well it works for humans or other conditions. So any star rating I give is perhaps meaningless (hence my long and hopefully informative review), I will just give it 4.

The product arrived well ahead of the promised date and is nicely packaged in double airtight envelopes. Pure powder without any fillers or sweeteners, my preferred way to take this and other supplements. This powder is easy to measure - not clumpy at all.Price is best I've seen so far, so I will be ordering again.

My dog has skin allergies. I looked up the two main ingredients and this was number 2. The other one is organic flax seed oil that I also buy from Amazon. We love Amazon! It helps so he doesn't get skin sores. Thanks

Great for allergies, but pretty expensive. Costs too much to be able to take three times a day as I need to take it. There are cheaper mast cell stabilizers that work just as well.

This definitely helps reduce pain and inflamation. Great deal for a smaller quantity, which helps when you take supplements regularly on a budget.
