Arnica Bruise Cream with Vitamin K - Moisturizer for Bruising on Arms, Legs & Hands - 4.5 Oz

This is a nice cream and works well on bruises.

For me, this product worked dramatically and that's why it gets five stars. My situation is difficult to explain. More than a year ago, I slipped on the ice and fractured, my wrist and had it surgically repaired the very next day. There was no bruising to the area until nine months later a very deep red and purple bruise began developing. Three different doctors and a couple of nurses could not tell me why I had the amazingly large bruise area on my wrist and back of my hand. I had the dramatic discoloration for five sold months. It's the kind of bruising someone might experience after having an IV or if one were in their 90s. The third doctor that I engaged – a dermatologist – recommended this product and within a week the area has begun fading to the point where I'm astonished in a happy way.

This stuff does seem to work. I am using it at least 2x a day for several weeks now. My bruising is not gone and still happens but clears more quickly. I am also using the dermend fragile skin lotion. My skin tears are way less. As this is expensive, I don't know how long I will be able to use it. I also wish they could combine the ingredients of both products into one cream. If this could be perfected into a prescription strength cream that Medicare would cover there would be a greater benefit for us older folks on a budget. Skin that doesn't tear and bruise should not just be for those that can afford these prices. This the 4 stars.

Pricey, but it actually works! I am on an anticoagulant (blood thinner) and frequently bump into things, getting fresh bruises on a semi-regular basis. My dermatologist recommended this. I am a retired Physician Assistant and was skeptical about claims of effectiveness, but she assured me there were other ingredients that make it work. I bit the bullet and ordered a tube (pricey - like I said). Much to my amazement, I could actually see improvement in my bruises, sometimes noticeable in 24 hours, but always noticeable within 2-3 days. Other so-called bruise creams seemed to be no more effective than just relying on time and warm compresses. As a bonus, it is a great moisturizer for my hands and has a pleasant smell that disappears quickly. It's not cheap, but it does the job.

I'm an old guy. 82 years old and found that this cream is very beneficial for the treatment and repair of minor bruises that seem to appear with great regularity when ever I'm working on a boat or a vehicle. Bruises happen frequently and now take much longer to disappear than how it was 30 or more years ago, this cream certainly speeds the recovery from these bruises.

It goes on so creamy so it does 2 jobs. It is a great moisturizer and good for bruises. My second purchase

I use this on a bad skin condition on my arms and it helps to make it fade away, as long as i use it every day. Nothing else has ever worked.

I bruise like crazy. I am on aspirin therapy and I take fish oil and that thins my blood. I am a klutz as well so I am always covered in bruises these days. I was scheduled to have a minor surgical procedure on my nose (Deviated septum repair. Wasn't THAT minor at all actually!) so I stocked up on three different brands of bruise cream. I already knew that Arnicare Gel did nothing to help old or new bruises for me so I went looking for something with more arnica in it. Dermend has 10% as opposed to 7% in Arnicare and many others. Although the tube I bought here came unsealed and I could not use it, I ended up getting it elsewhere before the procedure. This is a white odorless cream which is more like a lotion. It's pretty thin. It would be better in a pump bottle in my opinion. It is very soothing when applied, not greasy, and absorbs pretty quickly. I tried it on some of the bruises on my legs - the place where I always seem to be covered with them - and I did notice that the purple splotches turned lighter and then yellow faster than without using the cream. It didn't miraculously make my bruises disappear but it did help. When I felt as though I was going to get a bruise after knocking into something or bumping against something, I applied the cream right away. That is when I saw the biggest difference. I still got bruises but they were far less noticeable and awful. So, having Dermend and Miracle Plus Arnica Bruise Cream along with a really funky smelling balm that I didn't like, I confidently went into surgery. Ugh. It didn't take long for me to see that I was going to bruise around my eyes and even above my upper lip (and various places on my arms and hands). My nose didn't bruise though so there is that. I used Dermend on one side of my face and the Miracle Plus Cream on the other. Miracle Plus does not disclose the percentage of arnica and that ticks me off. But...it works as well as Dermend on fresh bruises. Both sides of my face seemed to heal at the same rate of speed. The awful purple turned lighter faster than usual and I am still waiting for the yellow areas to go away. Where this cream is better for me is on old bruises. I definitely see better results when I use Dermend on established bruises than when I use Miracle Plus. But on fresh bruises, both work pretty well. Compared to Arnicare Gel, they are amazing. Absolutely nothing happened when I used that and it had a gooey consistency I didn't like. This one is creamy and blends easily. No one knows you have it on your skin and it doesn't have an odor. I will continue to use this on established bruises that just show up out of nowhere before I can catch them. It's quite good for that. But, for half the price, I will use Miracle Plus for new or possible bruises after a bump or slight injury because they work about the same way for me and it is cheaper. In conclusion, based on my personal experience, if you're looking for an effective bruise cream for new bruises, this one works, at least for me. If you're looking for one for older bruises, this also helps but there are others that are cheaper that do about the same thing. Or do like I do and buy this for the new ones and a cheaper cream for the older ones. It definitely saves money. I do feel that I am armed now with a product that will help me not look like I am abuse victim. I am always embarrassed when people ask how I got the bruises I have and then "jokingly" ask me if my husband is tossing me around. No, he isn't. I am tossing me around by just slightly bumping my easily bruised skin against something hard. It's the price I pay to keep blood clots at bay!

I have tried dozens of lotion, some expensive, some inexpensive, but for the first time in years I actually got results! Now I am 72 and have a problem with bruising my hands which looks terrible, this product was advertised as helping with this problem and improving “mature “ skin, and it does do that to my surprise. Now I have only been using this for about 3 weeks but I do believe I will continue and if it keeps working I will definitely buy this product again, I just wish it was less expensive. I would have given it 5 stars but I need to use it a bit longer I think it will end up with 5 stars. I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their skin and are mature 😁

Had bruises on my leg for over 7 years now. Since using this cream they have faded . Great product worth the price.
