Bought for grandaughter she loved it

I was not impressed with this out of the box. Firstly it's sold with a lie, making about to be a full 34cm size lamp, when the box barely reaches 20cm. It's roughly 2/3 the size you'd normally get. Then instead of a plug for the wall socket, I find some American style pair of 'prongs' for...what? plugging into what? I should have sent it backright there and then.However, I decided to persevere. After surgically removing the 'prongs', I was able to cut back some of the black insulation to reveal the familiar brown and blue coloured wires. I'm not sure what amp-age these 'prongs' would accept in America or continental Europe, but I went with a 3 amp fuse and plug and all's well.In operation, I have to say, despite its disappointing size and the nuisance of plugging it, very pleasing limey green blobs bobbing around in a kind of crystal blue watery background. Rather lovely in fact, just perfect for the incoming freezing winter nights, when I need a bit of heat to take the chill out of the air. Also call me slightly childish, but I can't stand sleeping in a pitch black bedroom; I need a soothing light in the background to get me off, and so I don't bump into anything on a early hours toilet visit.So, yeah, 3* and adequate. I've paid similar money for full sized lava lamps, but they all seem be the same old boring colours now. This little lamp does stand out from the crowd quite a bit with it's ethereal green and blue combo. Recommended, but be sure to have a spare plug, screwdriver and stanley knife for those 'prongs'.

Poor quality broke after 5 weeks have messaged the company no response

Gets really warm and did not mention plug was not uk standard however love the product and service was prompt and efficient

Love lava lamps got exactly what I paid for prefect condition spare bulb .

Very disappointed that this item came with an EC plug when it was for sale in the UK!Luckily I have an adaptor, but shouldn't have needed one.

It doesn’t come with an English plug, it’s a foreign one and the lamp has broke already, the liquid inside the lamp and gone all bitty and separated.

A bit cross that it came with 2 pinned plug and not 3 for UK use! It was a Birthday present 9yr old very disappointed.Also the metal base had been distorted out of shape so had to reshape so bottle of lava would fit.But once I bought a new adapter it is very pretty even if we did order blue with white lava . By this time I'd given up.

Cadeau acheté pour ma copine qui as vraiment adoré.Elle l'utilise pratiquement tous les soirs avant de s'endormir, c'est assez relaxant je dois dire et ça fait une petite lumière tamisé.Très belles couleurs, c'est sympa.Point négatif : J'ai reçu 1 ampoule sur 2 casser au niveau du filament mais bon, je ne vais pas faire de retour pour ça, uniquement racheter une autre lampe ça n'est pas bien grave.Mais je vous conseil de vérifier les 2 ampoules à réception pour éviter ce genre de surprise :)
